Happy Friday Strath! What do you need for your rainy weekend?

Flower bar is full of fragrant orientals, liliums and colourful alstroemerias. Native posies on special today and fresh bunches in on Tuesday 💐💐

Still have some organic ancient grain sliced sourdoughs left on the bread shelf and plenty of fruit buns in the freezer.

All your fave Loco Love choccies restocked including the new peppermint cookie crunch. I’m waiting patiently for the zingy gingerbread. It will be here as soon as I can get it 😍

Coconut kefirs restocked in vanilla bean, berry beets and turmeric chai flavours.

Plenty of snacks for rainy day Netflix binging. Olive oil or avocado oil potato chips, lots of Alexandrina Cheese Co cheeses for a grazing board, sweet and crunchy munchbox size Fuji or pink lady apples, chewy sulphur free dried mango. Yum.

Still have food to grab from the cabinet in TOMS Kitchen too. How about some salad to go with your GF schnitzel from Maidments? Or a mango and salted coconut chia pot. Makes for a delicious dessert, or breakfast, or cheeky midnight snack 😊

Drop into the Shed tomorrow from 10-3 for cold drinks and snacks or pop into TOMS Kitchen for your gluten free wholefoods lunch. It’s all vegetarian, seed oil free and refined sugar free. And a little bit tasty!

There shall be nourish bowls, falafel bowls, lo carb wraps, chia pots and of course caaaaake. Yum 😍

Just a reminder that due to the race action in town on Sunday we are open all weekend as follows:

Saturday 17 Oct 830am - 1pm
Sunday 18 Oct 10am - 3pm

Pop in on Sunday for snacks, cold drinks or grab n go gluten free wholefoods from TOMS Kitchen in between the race stages. Should be a great day!

Are you coming to town for the Adelaide Rally on Sunday? We’ve been every year and it is such good fun.

We are open this year from 10-3. Pop into the Shed for snacks, cold pressed juice, cold sparkling juices and kombucha. It’s going to be a warm one so you’ll need something cold and hydrating to get you through the action 😊

TOMS kitchen will also be open for all your grab and go gluten free wholefoods. Think lo carb wraps, mixed salad bowls, falafel bowls, delicious cakes and slices and of course bloody good De Groot organic coffee.

We can’t wait to see you and the cars. It’s going to be a great day!

Bread’s in. Lots of organic sliced sourdoughs and fruit buns to choose from plus the range of GF Precinct gluten free loaves.

Paris Creek organic milk and yogurt restocked today too, Alexandrina milk and cheese in tomorrow.

Owen Homeopathics fully restocked and Australian Bush Essences limited range now in stock. I picked the best sellers and they will remain available. The Emergency sprays and cream and the Calm and Clear are definitely the most popular.

TOMS Kitchen here this week with all the delicious gluten free things including our new zesty lemony slice and salted cashew caramel slice. Both gluten free and refined sugar free.. and so good 😍

It’s cream of mushroom soup day. Take a tub home and use as a sauce on your steak or schnitty. Yes it really is that thick and creamy 😊

Try our mixed salad bowl. Lots of gut loving goodness in there. Protein, good fats, fermented carrot. It will set you up for a great afternoon.

Just a note regarding tomorrow's power outage. They say between 1pm and 3pm, but really who knows when. Tuesday it was due between 10am and 12pm and it went out at 12.15pm! We will see how we go 🙂

Just a note to advise of our upcoming closure this coming Saturday of long weekend, so pop in Friday for all your long weekend goodies.

Also, the Shed will be open as usual at 830am tomorrow morning but due to a power outage sometime between 10am-12pm tomorrow morning TOMS Kitchen will only be serving coffee and cake until at least 12pm. The Shed will be closed while the power is out but will be open again when it returns. Hopefully it’s not out for too long!

Before I owned the Shed and opened TOMS Kitchen, cooking was my hobby and a side hustle. Sometimes my hobby crossed over into my work life. This was one of my favourite times!
I was Sales and Marketing Manager for a small tour company at Uluṟu and became the on board chef for the Uluṟu Fork and View which was a double decker bus that had been transformed into a 40 seat restaurant up top and a full kitchen below, by a super creative friend and colleague. It was so cool. We hosted sunset tours at Uluṟu with a three course meal, each course at a different location around the rock. It was just the best time! It was full on hard work each tour but just so fun.
It came up as a memory for me today and I was taken back to a good foodie memory. How blessed I am to have lots of those, and now to be making more in my own kitchen ❤️
