Meet Brooke! 👋

We’re excited to introduce Brooke to DLS Allied Health Albury Wodonga!
Brooke always knew she wanted a career in healthcare. She chose Occupational Therapy because of the diversity the profession offers and the opportunity to think creatively every day. She loves working alongside individuals to find meaningful, practical solutions that help them achieve the goals that matter most to them.

Outside of work, Brooke enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, getting lost in a good book, and trying new experiences whenever she gets the chance. 🚵‍♀️🏕️

Brooke is also a proud pet owner, with a cat, horses, and a cheeky dog named Bear, who certainly keeps life interesting! 🐶🐴

Meet Abbey! 👋

We’re excited to introduce Abbey to our Occupational Therapist team at DLS Allied Health!

Abbey chose Occupational Therapy because she always wanted a career where she could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. After completing work experience in high school, she knew OT was the perfect fit. She especially enjoys working with paediatric participants and supporting them to achieve their personal goals.

Outside of work, Abbey loves staying active and keeping busy. You’ll often find her at the gym, in a Pilates class, or baking sweet treats 🍰

Abbey is also heavily involved in netball and even spends time umpiring in the Bendigo Football Netball League 🏐
While she doesn’t currently have any pets, she’s always surrounded by plenty of netball and activity!

When it’s time to relax, Abbey enjoys watching romance or comedy TV shows and movies

Meet Tyson! 👋

We’re excited to introduce Tyson to our Occupational Therapist team at DLS Allied Health!

Tyson was inspired to pursue Occupational Therapy after previously working as a nurse. While on shift, he worked alongside an OT who clearly loved what they did — and seeing how enjoyable and rewarding the role looked sparked his interest in the profession.

Outside of work, Tyson enjoys socialising with mates, supporting Essendon Football Club (even if it can be a little painful at times), and keeping well stocked with Pepsi Max 🏉🥤

He also likes to stay active, with hobbies including running and playing basketball 🏃🏀
When it’s time to unwind, Tyson’s comfort show is Married at First Sight Australia, though he also enjoys watching Modern Family and Family Guy for a laugh 📺

Meet Amy! 👋

We’re excited to introduce Amy to our Speech Pathology team at DLS Allied Health!

Amy has always been drawn to the allied health field and was inspired to pursue Speech Pathology after seeing firsthand the positive impact it can have through loved ones and family friends. She is passionate about supporting and empowering her participants to reach their communication goals.

Outside of work, Amy loves travelling and going on spontaneous adventures. She also enjoys going for a walk or swim and spending quality time with family and friends 🌊✈️

Her hobbies include sewing and gardening — especially caring for her indoor plant babies 🌿🧵

At home, Amy has a Border Collie named Ivy who keeps her on her toes 🐾
In the lead up to Christmas, Amy loves baking and enjoying all the delicious festive treats 🎄

Meet Bec! 👋

We’re excited to introduce Bec to our Occupational Therapist team at DLS Allied Health!

Bec brings 9 years of teaching experience into her OT role and was inspired to make the transition so she could work more closely one-on-one with people. After collaborating with OTs in schools and being encouraged by some of her students, she realised Occupational Therapy was the perfect way to combine the best parts of teaching with supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals.

Outside of work, Bec enjoys catching up with friends, going out for dinner, watching TV shows and movies, and planning her next shopping trip or travel destination ✈️🛍️

Her hobbies include basketball, reading, pop culture, and anything film or television related — she’s always happy to chat recommendations!
While she doesn’t have a pet just yet, she’s hoping for a puppy one day when there’s a bigger backyard 🐾

To unwind, her ultimate comfort show is Friends — so familiar she could practically listen to it like a podcast!

Meet James! 👋

We’re excited to introduce James to our Occupational Therapist team at DLS Allied Health!

James is passionate about supporting people to become the best versions of themselves and helping participants build confidence and independence in their everyday lives.

Outside of work, James loves spending time in nature — whether that’s a walk or run through the bush, or camping by the river 🌿🏕️
He enjoys staying active and plays a range of sports including cricket, footy, and golf 🏏🏉⛳

At home, James has a very funny Jack Russell named Max who keeps life entertaining 🐾
To unwind, James turns to music — either listening to it or picking up his guitar for a relaxing reset 🎶
