Small changes make a big difference.

Encouraging independence, creating a safer space, maintaining routines, staying socially connected and looking after your own wellbeing all play an important role in long-term care at home.

Remember, you do not have to do everything on your own. The right support can help your loved one remain comfortable, confident and independent while giving you peace of mind.

If you would like guidance on personalised in-home support, our team is here to help.

A beautiful moment of reunion for the King and Queen as they came together once again to receive their gifts alongside the other wonderful winners from Strut Ability 👑

Seeing everyone smile, celebrate and support one another was a reminder that confidence, inclusion and community truly shine brightest when shared together.

Our team had the opportunity to step into a space filled with connection, conversations and real community impact. From speaking with providers and participants to hearing lived experiences and stories of inclusion it was a powerful reminder of why this work matters every day.

As shared throughout the day it is not just about being present at events like this but about listening learning and seeing the real impact that small moments of support and kindness can have. From interviews to shared stories and a few cupcakes along the way 🧁 the focus was simple inclusion community and connection.

We were also grateful to hear from individuals who reminded us that everyone has a story and every voice deserves to be heard equally without labels or limits.

Events like this remind us that when people come together with purpose the impact is felt far beyond the room.

Thank you to the organisers and everyone who shared their time and stories with us 💙

Behind every participant’s journey is a support worker showing up with patience, care and heart.

Today, we wanted to give a little back to the people who give so much every single day. From helping participants build independence to simply being there through the good days and hard days, our support workers make a real difference in the lives of the families we support.

This random act of kindness was just a small way of saying thank you to the incredible people who make Montessori Care what it is.

A special shoutout to and for leading this beautiful initiative and bringing kindness out on the road. To all our support workers, we see you, we appreciate you and we are so grateful for everything you do 💙

Families are often the quiet strength behind every journey.

They are the people who show up consistently, offer support during difficult moments and celebrate the wins no matter how small they may seem.

At Montessori Care, we see every day how important family and connection are in helping people feel safe, empowered and supported. Whether it’s parents, grandparents, siblings, carers, support workers or lifelong friends, every form of support matters.

This National Families Week, we celebrate the people who stand beside us through every stage of life and remind us that care is never done alone.

To all the families, carers and loved ones in our community, thank you for everything you do. 💙

A coffee order can be customised in a hundred different ways and somehow, they still get it right almost every time.

Connor shares a perspective from his trip to Japan that stuck with him. If a global coffee chain can consistently deliver personalised service at scale, why do so many people in the disability and community care space still feel unheard?

In care, getting the “order” right means understanding the person behind it. Their needs, routines, goals and what matters most to them.

Because support should never feel one size fits all. 💙

Behind so many moments of strength, comfort and unconditional care is a mother. 💙

Mothers are often the first to nurture, encourage and stand beside us through every stage of life. Their support can be quiet, constant and deeply life-changing in ways words can never fully capture.

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate all mothers, grandmothers, carers and maternal figures who continue to give so much of themselves to the people they love.

Thank you for your patience, sacrifice, warmth and unwavering care. The impact you make every day is truly immeasurable.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Montessori Care 💙

Some moments stay with you long after the cameras stop rolling.

Following STRUT Ability 2026, we wanted to do something meaningful for the mothers behind the scenes. The women who support, encourage and stand beside our participants every single day.

Joe Raish with our Chief Joy Officer, Charbel, spent the day visiting the families of our participants to deliver a small surprise. Flowers chosen by Charbel himself and a personalised photo album filled with memories from the runway.

Four of our participants took to the stage at Strut Ability, each bringing their own personality, confidence and presence. Watching them walk the runway so proudly was a moment our team will never forget.

Their achievements on the day including King, Queen, Princess and 1st Place were incredibly special, but what mattered most was seeing them genuinely enjoy the experience and feel celebrated for exactly who they are.

One of the most heartwarming moments was seeing Charbel surprise his own mum with flowers too.

Care is often found in the little things. The time spent together, the moments remembered and the people who make others feel seen. To all mothers, carers and families, thank you for the love and support you give every day. 💙
