SUPPORT WORKERS WANTED – Sunshine Coast

Enriched Lifestyle Services is currently seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers.

We are looking for support workers who are:

✔ Open-minded and respectful
✔ Experience with challenging behaviours
✔ Confident supporting participants living with mental health challenges
✔ Calm, empathetic and able to build genuine rapport
✔ Available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8:30am - 4:30pm (with some respite hours over weekend, weekend availability is a must)

MUST have previous experience and be confident working with clients that can have challenging behaviours and experience following PBS

This role will include:

• Community access and social support
• Assistance with daily living
• Emotional support and encouragement
• Supporting participants to build independence and confidence

Essential Requirements:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Reliable, respectful and professional approach

We are looking for support workers who are:
✔ Open-minded and respectful
✔ Comfortable supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community
✔ Confident supporting participants living with mental health challenges
✔ Calm, empathetic and able to build genuine rapport
✔ Available for sleepover shifts (one house female support only) we have an upcoming house we will need mix of male and female support workers.
Experience in disability support and/or mental health support is highly regarded, however the right attitude and values are equally important.
This role will include:

We are particularly looking for support workers who are available for regular sleepover and weekend shifts and who are passionate about providing person-centred support in a respectful, supportive, and inclusive environment.

We are looking for support workers who are:

✔ Available for regular sleepover shifts
✔ Available for weekend work
✔ Calm, empathetic and able to build genuine rapport
✔ Confident supporting participants living with mental health challenges
✔ Open-minded and respectful
✔ Reliable, committed and willing to work as part of a team

This role will include:

• Assistance with daily living activities
• Community access and social support
• Emotional support and encouragement
• Medication support and monitoring
• Sleepover and weekend shifts
• Supporting participants to build independence and confidence
• Working within a shared living (SIL) environment

Essential Requirements:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
• Professional, reliable and person-centred approach

• Experience with medication administration
• Experience supporting participants with diabetes
• Experience administering insulin and supporting diabetes management

Highly Regarded:

⭐ Experience in disability support and/or mental health support
⭐ Experience working within a SIL environment
