This morning something unexpected and magnificent happened which reminded me of the power of divine intervention and being redirected towards the right place at the right time. I went to take Falkor to play at the dog park, but when we arrived we found council workers spraying weeds in the off-leash dog area, so we left. I decided to take him on our usual lap by the waterfront instead. We stumbled upon flocks of at least 7 different species of sea birds feeding together just beside the shore. The sounds of their beautiful calls and their wings flapping against the surface as they dove to feed was the exact medicine my nervous system needed.
