Not a holiday. Not an escape.

A remembering.

I asked my kids and asked them how they feel when I go away on retreat.

They said sad.

And then they said they know it’s work that needs to be done. That I come back as a better mum. That watching me listen to my heart gives them permission to listen to theirs one day.

I nearly lost it 🥹

This is why I do what I do. Not just for me. For them. For the version of themselves they are still growing into.

When I say yes to the call - they get a better mum. And they get a front row seat to what it looks like to be a woman who doesn’t abandon herself.

If mum guilt has been the thing keeping you from saying yes to Uluru - let this be your sign.

The Earth has energy lines running through her.

And for the last five years I’ve been mapping and working them - gathering community on those lines, mending them together, and letting the land show us more.

Because here’s what I know for certain.

Collective meditation and healing on sacred land is next level.

There’s something that happens when a group of people gather with intention on these lines.. a depth of release, connection, and remembrance that is genuinely difficult to put into words. The land becomes the teacher. The land becomes the healer. We just show up.

And right now.. collectively.. we’re being called back into relationship with the Earth.

Not as tourists. As custodians. As people who remember that the land is alive, that she communicates, and that she has been holding things for us that we are finally ready to receive.

Sacred travel is medicine. Community on country is medicine.

The Earth has so much to show us when we slow down enough to listen.

Meet Hazel. 🐾

By day 2 I was quietly questioning everything. I’d rearranged my entire work week, reduced my availability for the first two weeks and honestly my nervous system felt it.

But here’s what I noticed. As I was outside more, playing and training her, I was building capacity. And so was she. As she settled into her new rhythm, so did I. Five days in and she’s toilet trained, sitting and dropping on command and finding her independence.

When your world changes and your business needs to shift with it, there is a big lesson in that.

Space is safe. Balance is a must. Recalibrating a new way is okay.

You don’t get to skip the recalibration period. You just have to stay consistent and trust that the settling is happening even when it doesn’t look like it yet.

Small dog. Big ripple. She came exactly when she was meant to… even if she does want to chew on my feathers 😂🐾
