You might have noticed during sessions…

Im a pen and paper girl!

I’ve tried all the technology but honestly, whether I’m preparing for sessions or making notes I’m using good old pen and paper!

How about you? Do you still love the pen and paper or are you all about the latest tech?

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has reached out after listening to my last podcast episode with Jane ADHD Mums 🇦🇺 and sharing how much it resonated with you ❤️

It honestly means so much to hear that the words and experiences I shared have helped you feel a little more seen, understood or less alone.

One of the biggest reasons I do this work is because I want more neurodivergent mums to have access to the support, understanding and validation they deserve.

When I hear that one mum has found something helpful, and then another mum reaches out because she heard about it from her… that’s the ripple effect I hoped this work would create.

The more mums who feel supported, understood and empowered, the more worthwhile it all feels 🌿

This is Rachel Corben, Principal of Reservoir West Primary School, dressed as Mia from I Am a Yellow Ladybug for Book Week.

It sure feels like things have changed compared to when Mia was in primary school. Yes, schools still have a long way to go, but it’s nice to celebrate progress and change in real time.

Thanking Rachel for this wonderful act and for giving permission for us to share these photos 💛🐞

The ultimate reason why I love what I do. Helping mums to feel supported and in turn- families to thrive ✨ Thanks for sharing this with me Bonnie!

Every Friday, the kid blows up. Nothing left in him at all.
Rachel Few had built the family schedule around all of it — the sensory needs, the social needs, everything.

The blow-up kept happening anyway. So they went back through the week with a fine-tooth comb and a PDA lens.

It was Monday. Monday was doing it to Friday.

Shower every day. That party. That kid's event. All of it on autopilot, none of it counted.
Then Rachel Few gets a family to actually stop and add it up — and two of the four people have spent their entire social battery by Tuesday. The week runs to Sunday.

Which means getting strict about what you do and don't let into the week, for each person, so everyone gets through it.

When the constant overwhelm, meltdowns, mental load & feeling like you’re just surviving become too much, it doesn’t have to stay that way.

The most powerful change often begins by supporting you. As you better understand your own nervous system and have someone walking alongside you, home can start to feel calmer, parenting feels less overwhelming and the whole family benefits.

You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. If you’re ready for things to feel different, I’d love to support you. Reach out to book a session and let’s take that first step together.

All any parent wants is for their child to be happy and healthy.

For an increasing number of children the school system is taking a huge toll on their wellbeing and in many cases children are leaving the system burnt out and/or traumatised.

For some children home learning is a better option for their wellbeing (where possible to facilitate).

It can be daunting considering home learning but majority of parents I speak to feel a great relief once they see how much happier and well balanced their children are after leaving school.

Do you ever get that feeling your brain desperately wants to focus on one thing and one thing alone? Instead it feels like it’s going to explode 🤯

Kids talking, questions coming at you, cooking dinner, text message incoming and the dog barking for dinner, whilst asking for the 8000th time for someone to please get in the shower!
