June 15th is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. Everyone deserves respect, dignity, and safety, no matter their age or circumstances.

The day aims to bring communities, governments and organisations together to voice opposition to the abuse, neglect and financial exploitation of older people.

The official colour of WEAAD is purple which represents wisdom, dignity, independence and creativity.
