For my girlies who finished the day exhausted and still somehow felt behind.

The goalpost moves every time you reach it.

So if you’re waiting to feel like you’ve done enough before you let yourself rest, that moment may never come.

You did things today.
That counts. Close the laptop. Put the to-do list down. 🤍

This hit me when I first came across it and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.

Because worry genuinely feels useful doesn’t it. Like you’re being responsible, preparing, thinking things through. But most of the time we’re just sitting there imagining everything going wrong in really vivid detail.

What if that same energy went somewhere else. What it actually looks like when it works out. What you’d do differently if you trusted yourself a bit more. Genuinely think that shift alone would change a lot.

And I mean this in the best possible way.

Because the world will give you a lot of reasons to be realistic. To manage your expectations. To not want too much or aim too high or get too ahead of yourself. And if you listen to all of that, you’ll stay exactly where you are.

The people who actually get to where they want to be aren’t necessarily more talented or more lucky. They just refused to stop believing it was possible for them, even when the evidence wasn’t there yet.

That’s not delusion. That’s just what conviction looks like before it becomes a result.

Be a bit obsessed. It’s allowed. 🤍

Saving this here for myself as much as anyone else.

Because I still have to remind myself of this.

That nervous feeling before something new isn’t my body telling me I can’t do it. It’s just telling me it’s unfamiliar. Those are really different things.

Self-doubt is so good at blurring that line though. It takes the nerves and turns them into evidence that you’re not ready, not qualified, not capable. And if you believe it, you stop before you even start.

The nerves are normal.
Keep going anyway. 🤍

Receiving good things is a skill. And most of us are really bad at it.

Not because we don’t want them. But because somewhere along the way we started to believe that good things come with a catch. That they’re temporary. That we need to be more, do more, prove more before we’re allowed to fully enjoy them.

If something good is happening in your life right now, you’re allowed to just... let it be good. No catch. No countdown. No waiting for the other shoe to drop.

You’re worthy of it. Right now. As you are. 🤍

One of the most common things I hear from the women I work with is some version of “I just don’t think I’m capable of this.”

But when we actually slow down and look at it, what’s really there is fear.

Fear of getting it wrong, fear of the unknown, fear of what it means if they try and it doesn’t work out.

Fear and incapability are not the same thing.
But self-doubt will absolutely convince you they are.

That feeling when you’re about to do something new or something bigger?
That’s just what unfamiliar feels like.
You’ve felt it before and figured it out anyway.

Progress doesn’t always feel like progress…
especially when your brain is used to focusing on what’s next.

This is something I unpack a lot in coaching.

Because when that shifts - everything starts to feel different 🤍

Social media shows you a highlight reel ✨

But your brain processes it like it’s someone’s full reality.

So you end up comparing:
your normal day
your current phase
your uncertainty
to someone else’s curated moments.

And over time… that distorts how you see your own life.

This comes up a lot in coaching.

Women thinking they’re behind - when really, they’ve just been looking at too much content.

You’re not behind.
You’re just comparing your real life to highlights 🤍
