Let's talk the pre-conception diet.

When it comes to falling pregnant, your body needs to be nourished with quality, organic foods, to ensure your nutrient levels are being met — and then some. The truth is, these foods are going to carry you well through the first trimester, and nourish both your body and bub's too.

I totally get that queasiness during first trimester makes it a little hard to stomach some of these (especially that chicken liver!), which is why I always recommend a quality raft of nourishing supplements. But there are definitely ways of sneaking some of these foods into your meals. Let me know your most creative ideas!

So many people describe the same feeling. Foggy mornings, afternoon crashes, low motivation, and that sense of pushing through the day rather than moving with it. Often, it’s not one big issue but a mix of how we eat, sleep, move, and manage stress that slowly drains the body’s ability to make and maintain energy.

Your body relies on steady blood sugar, good-quality sleep, and a calm nervous system to create ATP. The fuel that keeps everything running. When meals rely too heavily on refined sugars, when stress stays high, or when sleep becomes irregular, the whole system starts to wobble. Simple shifts like choosing more whole foods, exercising earlier in the day, and building a gentle bedtime rhythm can restore balance faster than most people expect. Even supporting your liver and digestion can make a noticeable difference in clarity and stamina.

When you’re ready to reclaim your spark and feel energised again, personalised support is here.

When a couple’s trying to conceive, the focus so often lands on the woman. Her cycle, her hormones, her age. But male fertility is just as important, and it’s something I see overlooked all the time.

The truth is, s***m health plays a huge role in conception. And yes, there are things you can do to improve it. Things like nutrition, stress management, lifestyle habits, and even limiting exposure to certain chemicals can make a real difference.

This isn’t about blame or pressure. It’s about understanding how both sides contribute, and giving the body what it needs to function at its best.

Let’s chat about how you can improve your fertility naturally. I’m here to help guide you through it. (Link in bio)

I’ve noticed how many people are feeling wired on the inside even when they look fine on the outside: tight shoulders, restless sleep, a mind that won’t sit still. That’s often a sign your nervous system has stayed in “fight or flight” longer than it should.

Your body does its best to protect you, but it also needs moments to slow down. Simple habits help switch the system back to “rest and digest”: gentle breathing, quiet mornings, sunlight, grounding, and choosing meals that steady your blood sugar rather than spike it. These small resets make it easier to think clearly, sleep deeply, and feel more like yourself again.

And when you need extra support, nutrients like magnesium, omega-3s, or calming herbs can be incredibly helpful when chosen with guidance.

If your nervous system feels overstretched, I’m here to help you find steadiness again.

It is good to remember that we are human beings not human doings. 😊⠀

Life is so much sweeter when we take time EVERY day to be still and relax and be grateful. 🧘♀️⠀

So many people come in telling me the same thing... “I just don’t feel like myself.” Low energy, foggy thinking, breakouts, bloating, feeling inflamed for no obvious reason. And often, the answer isn’t dramatic at all. It’s the quiet build-up of everyday toxins the body keeps trying to manage on its own.

Small changes can ease that load. Clean, filtered water. Fresh, organic food when possible. Swapping plastics for glass, especially with anything warm. Choosing gentle, non-toxic cleaners and skincare. Even improving the air you breathe — a purifier, a HEPA vacuum, or a few well-chosen indoor plants — can give your system a break.

Food plays a beautiful role here too. Lemons, cruciferous veggies, leafy greens, beetroot, apples, avocado, turmeric, green tea, blueberries, and prebiotic-rich veggies nourish the liver and support natural detox pathways. And sometimes, specific tools like chlorella help bind what your body is ready to let go of.

Your body is always working to protect you. When you reduce what overwhelms it and increase what nourishes it, balance starts returning in a way you can actually feel.

If you’d like support making these changes in a way that feels realistic and personal to your life, I’m here.

One of the reasons I love assisting women to balance their hormones, periods, reproductive function and fertility is because this area responds so well to natural support!

Naturopathy has a lot to offer in supporting women in all phases of their hormonal life stages. I see the most incredible transformations in so many of my clients seeking support in this area.

The endocrine system, which is our hormonal system, is so very delicate, intricate and dynamic. It is also very sensitive to disruption, so when we can isolate what is causing a problem and address it naturally, this can very quickly help reduce symptoms and in many cases, fully resolve an issue.

Hormonal imbalance is such a common issue, in women particularly, and can really affect quality of life both mentally and physically, but with the right natural interventions, we can get you to your health goals, together.

I’ve seen it over and over. When the gut is out of balance, everything feels a little harder. Energy dips, moods shift, skin flares, sleep gets patchy, and even simple meals can feel unpredictable. And it makes sense. The gut is home to trillions of microbes, most of our immune system, and a direct communication line to the brain. When that ecosystem becomes overwhelmed by stress, poor sleep, processed food, toxins, or antibiotics, the body starts sending signals: bloating, cravings, irritability, constipation, anxiety, or that constant “off” feeling you can’t quite explain.

The good news is the gut responds beautifully to small, steady changes. Nourishing it with whole foods, fibre, healthy fats, warm meals, movement, rest, and consistent routines can reset the microbiome in powerful ways. Fermented foods, probiotics and prebiotics build good bacteria; mindful eating calms digestion; and supporting the gut-brain connection can ease both tension and inflammation. Even simple choices like drinking enough water, reducing sugar, or stepping outside for a walk, can create noticeable improvements.

If your gut has been calling for help or you’re ready to rebuild your health from the inside out, I’m here to guide you with a plan that feels realistic, gentle, and sustainable.

Some days, being a parent feels like troubleshooting a dozen tiny mysteries. The fussy eating that suddenly appears out of nowhere, the tummy aches at bedtime, the colds that seem to make a comeback just when you hoped you were in the clear. And in between all of that, you’re doing your best to help your child grow into someone who feels calm, confident, and connected.

What I see again and again is that children thrive when their foundations are supported. Steady digestion, strong immunity, nourishing food, good sleep rhythms, and spaces where their emotions can land safely. Even small shifts, like getting them involved in making meals, protecting their rest, understanding their worries, or spending more time in nature, can help their bodies settle and their resilience grow. And when something doesn’t feel right... a lingering rash, tricky behaviour, constant tummy issues, or worries that seem bigger than usual, it’s completely okay to seek support.

If you’re looking for a clearer path for your child’s health, I’m here to help you make sense of their symptoms and build gentle, realistic steps forward for your family.
