We’ll never recommend something we wouldn’t be comfortable having ourselves. 🤍

And Lauren getting on the treatment bed for Skin Needling is a pretty good example of that. 😂

There’s something reassuring about knowing the person recommending your treatment understands exactly what it feels like to be on the other side of it. The nerves beforehand, what it actually feels like, the redness afterwards, and of course, why it’s worth it.

We talk a lot about honest advice at The Heart of Beauty, and part of that is genuinely believing in the treatments we recommend. Not because they’re trending, but because we understand the skin and know when they’re the right choice for the person in front of us.

And yes… sometimes that means Lauren has to take her turn on the bed too. 👀

Simple as that 🤍

They started and then they kept going.

They didn’t wait until they had the perfect skincare routine, the perfect budget or the perfect time to finally do something about their skin.

They came in, we worked out where their skin was at and what they wanted to change, and together we built a plan that was realistic for them.

And then? They gave it time.

They came back for their treatments, used the products we’d hand picked for their skin. They asked questions when something didn’t feel right, and we adjusted the plan when life, or their skin, changed.

The results you’re hoping for rarely come from one facial, one product or one “miracle” treatment. They come from starting, sticking with it and giving your skin the time it needs to change.

A beautiful space, yes. But, how you feel in it matters more. 🤍

We’ve always wanted The Heart of Beauty to feel warm, relaxed and welcoming from the moment you walk through the door.

We spend a lot of our days here, and many of our clients spend a lot of time here too, so we want it to feel less like somewhere you *have* to go for an appointment and more like somewhere you genuinely look forward to coming back to.

If you’ve been around here for a while, you’ve probably noticed Enzyme Therapy comes up a lot.

And clearly, it’s not just one of us who won’t stop talking about it. 😂

It’s not about chasing a quick glow or jumping onto the latest treatment trend. Enzyme Therapy works with the skin, supporting healthy function and helping us work towards long term change rather than simply masking what we can see on the surface.

It’s a treatment we recommend to our clients, have ourselves and genuinely believe in.

So maybe we’re a little biased… but when the people who spend their days working with skin keep talking about the same treatment, it says a lot. 🤍

Goodbye Emily 😢

Our gorgeous Emily is moving to Brisbane at the end of the month. While we are so, so sad to not have her as a part of our daily clinic life, we are so excited for her new chapter!

If you would like to visit Emily one last time, her final day is the 23rd September. Her availability is already extremely limited so please book online ASAP to avoid missing out.

Emily has been a big part of The Heart Of Beauty family, we are going to miss her so much 🤍

Healthy skin doesn’t always look “perfect”.

It can have texture. It can have pores. It can flush. And sometimes, straight after a treatment, it can look a little like this. 👀

What you’re seeing here is the plasmatic response after Enzyme Therapy. It’s a temporary flush caused by the stimulation of circulation and lymphatic flow within the skin.

And while social media has taught us to associate “healthy skin” with smooth, poreless and perfectly even complexions, that’s simply not real skin and it’s time we all stopped pretending like it is!

For us, healthy skin is skin that’s supported to function the way it’s designed to.

So yeah, we’ll happily take a little temporary redness. 🤍

We’re looking for a Beauty Therapist to join The Heart of Beauty 🤍

We’re looking for someone who loves all things skin and beauty, genuinely cares about their clients and wants to be part of a team where learning, sharing knowledge and doing things properly really matters.

This is a casual position with the opportunity to grow for the right person in our Peregian Beach clinic.

You’ll be working closely with our clients throughout their skin journeys, from thorough consultations to creating treatment and homecare plans, performing treatments and checking in on their progress along the way. You’ll take care of all of your clients beauty needs from brows to waxing, massage and nails.

A little about you…

You’re a qualified Beauty Therapist who:
→ Is passionate about skin and continuing to learn
→ Builds genuine relationships with clients and makes people feel comfortable from the moment they walk in and can build a strong client base
→ Is confident recommending treatments and homecare based on the individual in front of you
→ Is proactive, reliable and happy to jump in wherever the team needs you
→ Takes pride in the little details, from exceptional client care to keeping the clinic beautifully presented
→ Flexible, willing to work extra hours in our busy periods and who is available Saturdays.

Experience DMK skincare, performing laser treatment and Skin Needling would be ideal.
