Today, the team at MIXFM are taking fundraising to new heights!

Broadcasting live from the top of the Ferris Wheel at the Sunshine Coast Show, it's the ultimate battle of the sexes as AB & Sami take on Mark, Lyndon, Ben, Archie & Bretz to see who can raise the most money for local sick kids and their families through Give Me 5.

Every dollar donated helps Wishlist provide life-changing medical equipment, support services and care for families across the Sunshine Coast and Gympie region when they need it most. 💙

💯 A perfect score!

Sunshine Coast Health has achieved an incredible 100% in the A Better Choice Annual Audit of Food & Drink Supply - recognising their commitment to providing healthy, appealing and affordable food and drink options for staff and visitors.

Even more impressive? That's up from 84% in 2024 and 45% in 2022. 📈

Dr Gemma Turato, Executive Director of Allied Health, said the result recognises the ongoing efforts of retail outlets and vending suppliers who have tailored their menus and product ranges to offer healthy and delicious options.

"These menu and product transformations are truly commendable and support our staff and visitors to easily access healthy food and drink options at our healthcare facilities."

We're especially proud that our Wishlist Coffee Houses at Nambour General Hospital, Caloundra Health Service and Gympie Hospital were among those recognised. 💙

Wishlist Coffee House Manager Wendy Southam said, "Our Wishlist Coffee Houses aim to provide fresh, healthy, delicious and affordable food and drink options that appeal to a variety of customers and cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements."

💙 Support local healthcare this June with Give Me 5 at IGA 💙

Throughout June, participating Sunshine Coast IGA stores are proudly supporting ’s Give Me 5 campaign, helping raise vital funds for healthcare services across the Sunshine Coast.

There are plenty of easy ways to get involved while doing your grocery shop:
🟡 Purchase a Give Me 5 squishy ball (available in four fun colours!)
🟡 Add a $5 token at the checkout
🟡 Support IGA Dollar Day on June 10 by adding a $1 donation to your bill

Every dollar raised stays local, helping Wishlist fund essential equipment, services and programs at Sunshine Coast University Hospital including the much-loved Clown Doctors, who bring smiles and laughter to patients and families during difficult times ❤️

A huge thank you to participating IGA stores and our incredible community for continuing to support local healthcare.

🌅 While most people were still asleep, our incredible supporters were already hard at work helping bring Wishlist K's 4 Cancer to life.

A huge thank you to Unitywater for being there before dawn and helping us get event-ready. From setting up in the dark to supporting us throughout the morning, it's the generosity of local businesses and volunteers that makes events like this possible. 💙

Their support also helped us make a positive impact on the environment. Together, participants consumed 155 litres of water, preventing an estimated 310 single-use plastic bottles from ending up in landfill and our oceans. 💧🌏

Thank you to everyone who played their part - whether you ran, walked, volunteered, sponsored or cheered from the sidelines.

As part of 92.7 Mix FM's Give Me 5 campaign, this much-loved community fundraiser is helping support local children and families across the Sunshine Coast facing the challenges of serious illness, treatment and long hospital stays.

For more than 20 years, the Monster Auction has brought our community together to make a real difference. This year, it's back in a refreshed online format, making it easier than ever to get involved and support a great cause.

Wishlist is proud to support the Sunshine Coast Head & Neck Cancer Support Group’s 5th Annual Fundraiser 💙

Join us on Saturday, July 11th at Headland Golf Club for a wonderful evening raising funds and awareness for local patients and families affected by head & neck cancer.

All funds raised will stay local, supporting care packages for newly diagnosed patients, while also helping raise awareness and educate our Sunshine Coast community.
