What you might feel after your physio session.

Everybody responds differently, but here’s what some people notice:
• Mild soreness in the treated area, more like post-workout than pain
• Feeling tired or drained as your body does the work
• Looser, easier movement, often the first thing people notice
• Stiffness the next morning, which often eases within a day or two

It’s also worth knowing that one session may not be enough. It depends on you and what we’re treating.

If you notice sharp, worsening, or lingering symptoms, tell your physio. Don’t wait it out.

Sauna first, plunge second. The heat may help you relax and loosen up, then the cold gives your body a sharp contrast that tends to leave people feeling clear and alert. Most people do a few rounds. We have three plunge temperatures, so you can start where you’re comfortable.
