There are some people who come into your life and change you forever, not loudly, not forcefully, but in a way that quietly reshapes who you are at your core. Jay was one of those people for me.

From the moment we met, there was something genuine about him. A warmth, a strength, and a depth that you don’t come across often. Over time, what started as a connection grew into something much more a friendship built on trust, laughter, honesty, and a shared understanding that didn’t always need words.

One thing I truly believe, deep in my heart, is that whenever we were together, he knew me. In those moments, there was recognition, there was connection, and there was something real that never faded and that means everything to me.

The memories we shared, the conversations, the laughs, the quiet moments I hold onto them so tightly. I can only hope that wherever he is now, he carries those moments with him too. That somehow, in a way we can’t fully understand, he can look over them and over all of us who loved him.

Jay had a way of leaving a mark on people. Not through what he said, but through his presence. There was something about him that stayed with you. He taught me more than he probably ever realised about patience, perspective, and what truly matters in life. A lot of the person I am today is because of him, and that’s something I will carry with me forever.

What I’ll miss most is him, just him. The presence, the energy, the friendship that you don’t come across often in a lifetime.

Jay, you weren’t just someone who passed through my life, you became a part of me. No matter how much time passes, that will never change.

Rest easy, my best friend. I love you always. I hope you’re at peace, and I hope you’re watching over us.

We ate till we couldn’t eat no more. Thank you to guys at for the amazing food. We got Lucas to try some dishes he never would have thought of and we can’t forget the 900g steak we devoured 🤤. Then followed by some fun at crown to end the night.

a club where I started and ended my soccer journey as a junior all the way to a senior, where I spent my weekends making family, making memories, winning championships and creating a bond that will last my lifetime, a place I call home welcomed yesterday with open arms. The environment this club delivers to the community is second to none. Even though it wasn’t a home game, everyone was there to say hello and chat with Lucas and I couldn’t have been more happier to see the club I love make Lucas apart of the family. He’ll be back again and for many more games to come.
