How I connected my ElevenLabs voice to TD Talk
1. Go to Eleven Labs - link in my bio or https://try.elevenlabs.io/2okncdvc50yf
2. Log in to your account.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the home page. On the left-hand side, you will see ‘Developers’. Click ‘Developers’.
4. Then click ‘API Key ’, and then click ‘+ Create Key’.
5. When creating a new key, you will see ‘Restrictions’; ensure this is turned OFF. Once ‘Restrictions’ is turned off, you can click ‘Create’.
6. A long code will then appear. Copy the ‘API Key’.
7. Once copied, open TD Talk.
8. In TD Talk, go to ‘Settings’. Click ‘Voice’. Then click ‘Manage Voices’.
9. Once here, find ‘Eleven Labs' and select ‘Add’.
10. Paste the API Key that you copied earlier here and SAVE.
Make sure the voice is selected (it most likely will already be selected from previous use).
Test out the TD Talk voice: say “Testing”.
* Side note:* ElevenLabs will need an internet connection, so if you are out and about, you will need to hotspot from a phone.
