It is important to increase awareness surrounding Biophilic design in all aspects of design. An architect by the name of Lisa Heschong worked on rearranging the workstations of a company’s call centre employees so they would be able to see the trees in their peripheral vision. This $1000 investment from the company and the work of a smart architect meant the call handing efficiency of employees increased by 6%, giving the company a massive $2990 in return. Now that’s smart design.
