AGING IN PLACE, TOGETHER 🏡
For generations, older members of our community have contributed to the life of Swifts Creek and the surrounding district through farming, volunteering, local businesses, community organisations and caring for others.
Today, many face a difficult choice when their homes become too difficult to manage: leave the community they love, or remain isolated without appropriate housing options.
The Oram Estate Project, being auspiced by the Swifts Creek Bush Nursing Centre, aims to change that.
Oram Estate will provide 10 independent living units, community gardens, shared outdoor spaces and ongoing support that enables local older residents to remain connected, independent and close to family, friends and local services. The project will also create local employment opportunities and strengthen the social fabric of our community.
We are currently seeking Letters of Support, Endorsements and Testimonials from community members, businesses, organisations and anyone who believes this project is important for the future of our region.
