Pilates Teacher Burnout is a spiritual crisis (not just physical)
Year 5: I had a breakdown in my car between classes.
Physically? I was fine. Energetically? EMPTY. Spiritually? Lost.
I thought I just needed a vacation.
What I actually needed:
-To stop absorbing everyone's stress
-To reconnect with WHY I teach
-To develop spiritual practices (yes, really)
- To understand I was operating from masculine hustle instead of feminine flow
-To learn that teaching is LEADERSHIP, not just instruction
Four kids at home, studio to run, and I was running on fumes.
The wake-up call? My youngest asking "Are you happy, Mum?"
That's when I got serious about:
-Energy management
-Spiritual grounding
-Nervous system regulation
-Teaching from overflow, not depletion
21 years later? I teach MORE and feel LESS drained. Because I finally understood: This is spiritual work dressed as fitness.
If you’re burnt out, it’s not because you’re weak. It’s because nobody taught you the REAL skills.
Something big is coming for teachers who get this 👀
Comment “OVERFLOW” if you’re ready to teach from a full cup.
