Australasian Prevocational Dermatology Network - APDN

Our vision is for greater, more accessible dermatology education for all medical students in Australia. Our aims are:
1.

To increase collaboration between universities across Australia, New Zealand and internationally;
2. To create a bridge for communication and teaching delivered by the Australasian College of Dermatology (ACD) to medical students and junior doctors;
3. To advocate for a standardised dermatology prevocational teaching in the core medical curriculum;
4. To provide opportunities for prevocational students and doctors to connect with College (ACD), researchers, professionals and dermatology trainees;
5. To facilitate dermatology research opportunities; and
6 To promote dermatology outreach work and community activities

Some of our committee had the pleasure of attending this year! It was a great opportunity to hear and learn about cutting-edge innovations and groundbreaking research, while also connecting and collaborating with students, clinicians, and leaders across the dermatology community.

A huge congratulations to Aalia, who also presented her research at the conference. We are so proud to see our members contributing to the future of dermatology research!
