I got discharged from the RPA today.
Last week my body signalled that there was something seriously wrong by cutting off my breath and me blacking out. It turned out that I had large clots in my lungs that were impeding the function of both my lungs and heart.
I had emergency surgery the same day.
The image you see is a true image of where all my clots were.
I’m happy to say that I have made a full recovery and I’m discharged within the week, a lot sooner than most.
I have been working on healing my very broken and grief stricken heart for the past few months. The accumulated pain and sorrow is lifetimes in the making. I guess that the intelligence of my body decided that it was time to let it all go, metaphorically, symbolically and literally.
It was time to stop carrying the deeply embedded grief sitting right there on my chest.
I was ready. So I trusted the process. I trusted that I would be taken care off. I allowed.
And I’m so grateful. Deeply and sincerely.
I wanted to share this because it turned out that HEARTFULNESS is so much more powerful and profound than I could have ever imagined.
Of course, this is not to say that everyone needs to have emergency surgery in order to heal their heart.
But it is to say that all parts of us are inexplicably connected, with an innate consciousness that often defies logic.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the nursing staff and Doctors at the RPA looked after me as if I was their only VIP! Exceptional care.
