🏆 Building More Inclusive Bowls Clubs – On and Off the Greens 🏆

Clubs play an important role in bringing communities together, and inclusion should be at the heart of every sporting environment.

We’re highlighting the value of working with MRH Disability Services pty ltd, who can support bowls clubs in improving accessibility and creating genuinely inclusive experiences for people with disability.

Through on-site assessment and practical guidance, MRH Disability Services can help clubs identify opportunities to improve:

✔ Access to club facilities and greens
✔ Safety and ease of movement on and off the green
✔ Participation options for players of all abilities
✔ Communication and welcoming club environments
✔ Overall inclusion in both social and competitive bowls

This isn’t just about meeting requirements — it’s about making sure everyone has the opportunity to take part, belong, and enjoy the game.

By working together, clubs can create spaces where inclusion is built into everyday practice, not added on later.

Just a reminder we are seeking expressions of interest. Please email if you haven’t already. Those that are seeking classification we have been advised by bowls nsw that they will be running a day in June, date and location yet to be determined but will post when we receive official information.
We would like to extend our gratitude to our sponsors DRT Bowls Drakes Pride and BCIB as well as the hosted club Warilla recreational bowling club.
Formal registration form will be advertised in the coming weeks.

Perfect morning for a spot of fishing. Men’s group outing to windang followed by a beautiful lunch at Warilla. Sun, laughs and bonding we always have so much fun together.
