I speak a lot about the “inner work” some people may get it some may think why’s she on about……

Let me explain. As someone who struggled with body image for years I thought if that was the part of me I would fix life would be amazing, I would happy in all areas of life and problems would be solved.

If only it was that simple right?

Here’s what I didn’t realise at the time…..my body wasn’t broken my identity was! I didn’t know who I really was, what I truly value me and how to be truly confident in my own skin.

I thought fixing the outside would automatically fix the inside…..spoiler alert that didn’t happen.

Building your identity based on who you are at your core, who you want to be moving forward and leaving behind the doubts and projections of others is where your true self lies.
Confidence and true self identity is waiting to be unlocked!

Confidence comes from showing up in this world unapologetically YOU!

So in a nutshell that is the “inner work”.

When we let go of the projections of others.

When we let go of the beliefs and opinions that aren’t ours to carry.

When we go inward and realise we only have ourselves.

HUGE shifts happen.

Progress becomes continuous.

And best of all there’s never a reason to stop ever again.

This is the ultimate freedom.

Choose You.
Work on You.
Believe in You.
Be proud of You.

Give back the judgement, limitations, opinions of others that have been keeping you small, keeping you stuck and not letting you live the life you truly deserve.

What does FREEDOM mean to you?

What does FREEDOM feel like?

Questions I’ve been asking myself over the last few weeks.

For me freedom comes with a level of inner peace and calmness like no other.

Only answering to myself.

Checking in to what I need.

Feeling calm and in control in my body and mind.

Deciding where my energy goes.

Stepping away from things that no longer align.

Removing myself from places I don’t belong.

No resentment, no judgement whatsoever just moving on.

This feels like true freedom to me.

What does FREEDOM mean to you and how can you get more of that?

🩷She’s here🩷

Our first little Kurnell Pilates Bub arrived on Mother’s Day.

I’m so honoured to be apart of Lauren and Little Bobbie’s journey.

Lauren trained right the way through her pregnancy finishing her last session on the Thursday an Bobbie surprised us all by arriving early on Mother’a Day.
Lauren says this birth was quicker and better than her first birth experience and we are putting that down to consistency with both mat and reformer Pilates.

If you’re looking for a personalised approach, accountability and support during your pre and post labour journey please contact me. I meet you where you are at and work with you to stay fit, strong and healthy in the lead up to birth. I will then support you post birth to reconnect in with your body gently.

Feeling so blessed to get to call this my work. And so proud of Lauren’s journey.

Sharing “What I eat in a day” not helpful and here’s why ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

1. Nutritional needs are strictly individual - there is no one size fits all.
2. Many factors make up our nutritional needs such as age, weight, activity level, and underlying health conditions which means a diet optimised for one person can lead to deficiencies or excessive calories for another.
3. Personal preferences are key - eating food you hate because it’s “healthy” or popular isn’t sustainable (or enjoyable).
4. Negative eating behaviours can be triggered when sharing these posts.
5. Nobody lives in your world - time, budget, culture, family situation, food accessibility all impact the food you eat.

Do what works for you.

Aim for sustainable and realistic eating in your house.

Tune in to how you feel in your body.

Don’t sweat the small stuff.

Progress over perfection.

Allow yourself to live alittle an enjoy treats 🥰
