When I stumbled across Lisa Jane’s post about my school holiday sessions, I wasn’t expecting to read something like this! 😭

Running this studio has introduced me to the most incredible people and families, but reading these words absolutely sent me into orbit in the best possible way. 😭

Thank you to everyone who supports Ataris, whether you’ve booked a session, shared a post, brought your children along, attended a workshop, or simply cheered me on from the sidelines, thank you.

🦕👖 This Friday, we’re bringing the denim back!

Grab your favourite denim jacket, jeans, vest or bag and join us for a night of creativity, colour and upcycling. Whether you’re painting dinosaurs in space, adding patches, stencils or creating something completely unique, this workshop is all about giving old denim a new story.

School holiday bookings are now open! 🎨✨

We’re doing things a little differently! Many of these workshops have been inspired by the ideas, imagination and artwork of our very own Ataris Young Artists.

From Healing Candles and Paint Pour Playground to Watercolour Wonders, Moonlight Magic and Creative Studio Sessions for Teens, each workshop has been designed to encourage creativity, experimentation and the freedom to explore.

And because every good school holiday needs a little extra excitement…

From red to yellow, what that signifies for Ataris Art ☀️

Yep, the red walls served their purpose. I loved the colour, but over time the space started to feel heavy. It felt more like hurt than freedom, walking in felt more like holding on than moving forward.

For a while, I couldn’t work out why the studio wasn’t flowing the way I wanted it to. I kept changing the layout, moving furniture, trying different things, but it was still off.

So I chose yellow. Now every time I walk through the door, I feel like I can breathe again. Yellow has brought a completely different energy. Creativity, joy, curiosity, connection. The whole space feels lighter, more adaptable and more open. Like it’s finally become what it was always meant to be ☀️

Oh how I love Thursdays! Kim has pretty much finished her girl with the blue background. The tiniest spots to clean up. Please, tell this woman how incredible she is because she won’t listen to me!

Absolutely STUNNING!

Also, how crazy is it that the painting slightly changes with the background/lighting? Amazing 👏🏼
