For years I thought eating less around training was the answer 🙃
Less before runs. Less after. Ignore the hunger. Push through the cravings.
Spoiler: it made everything worse.
I was exhausted by 2pm, obsessing over food by 3pm, and eating everything in sight by 8pm — then waking up and doing it all again.
It wasn’t a willpower problem. It was a fuelling problem.
When I finally started eating to support my training instead of punishing myself for it, everything shifted.
