Pride Month 🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

This month, we celebrate the strength, diversity, and contributions of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Pride is about being seen, being accepted, and being able to live authentically as yourself. It’s also a reminder that everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and included, not just during Pride Month, but every day of the year.

At My Journey Australia, we are proud to provide inclusive, affirming support where people are valued for who they are and empowered to achieve their goals.

Be proud of who you are. You belong here. 🤍

National Sorry Day 🖤💛❤️

Today we pause to acknowledge and reflect on the pain, trauma, and lasting impact experienced by the Stolen Generations, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, families, and communities.

It is a day to listen, learn, remember, and continue walking together toward healing and reconciliation.

At My Journey Australia, we are committed to providing culturally safe and respectful support that honours connection to Country, culture, community, and identity.

Healing begins with truth, respect, and understanding.

Prader-Willi Syndrome Awareness Month 🧡

Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) is more than just a diagnosis.
It’s a lifelong condition that impacts hunger regulation, behaviour, emotional regulation, and daily routines.

For many individuals and families, it means constant supervision around food, structured environments, and navigating complex physical and behavioural needs every single day.

But it also means resilience, strength, and individuals with their own personalities, goals, and potential.

At My Journey Australia, we work closely with participants living with PWS to build supports that truly understand the reality of the diagnosis, consistent, structured, and tailored to what each person needs to feel safe, supported, and able to thrive.

Awareness isn’t just about knowing the name, it’s about understanding the day-to-day.

Le***an Visibility Week 🧡🤍

This week is about recognising, celebrating, and uplifting le***an voices, experiences, and identities.

Visibility matters, it creates space for understanding, safety, and connection, and reminds people that they are seen, valued, and not alone.

At My Journey Australia, we’re proud to support and stand alongside the LGBTQIA+ community, creating inclusive and respectful spaces where everyone can feel safe to be themselves.

You are seen. You are valued. You belong 🤍

World Autism Awareness Day 🧩

Today is about recognising and supporting autistic people, celebrating strengths, individuality, and the different ways people experience the world.

It’s also a reminder that awareness is just the beginning. What really matters is acceptance, understanding, and creating environments where autistic people feel supported, included, and able to thrive.

At My Journey Australia, we’re proud to walk alongside autistic participants and their families, helping build supports that are meaningful, respectful, and tailored to each person.

Different ways of thinking. Different strengths. One inclusive community.

National Close the Gap Day 🖤💛❤️

Today is about acknowledging the health, social, and economic inequalities experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples — and the collective responsibility we all share to do better.

Closing the gap starts with listening, learning, and walking alongside communities in a way that is respectful, culturally safe, and led by their voices.

At My Journey Australia, we are committed to providing culturally safe, trauma-informed support that respects connection to Country, Community, and culture.

Real change happens when we work together.
