Every year, I honour the Spring Equinox through ceremony.
A time to pause, awaken, plant new intentions and welcome the energy of new beginnings. Spring reminds us that nothing stays the same. There is a natural cycle of releasing, resting, growing and beginning again.
Usually, I’m the one holding space for others through these transitions, but this year, something felt different.
This Spring Equinox, I decided it was time to hold space for myself.
To honour the new chapters unfolding in my life, my start to menopause and to settle into our new home.
It was time to allow myself to slow down and actually enjoy this new season of life and to embrace my own rebirth.
There has been something really beautiful about turning some of that love, energy and intention back towards myself.
I absolutely love holding space for others, witnessing their transformations and creating spaces where women can reconnect with themselves.
But I’m learning that I deserve to receive that same care too.
So this Equinox, I’m not rushing into the next thing.
I’m enjoying where I am. My new chapter, new home and my own becoming.
Here’s to new beginnings, new roots and whatever is ready to bloom.
