Nectar Healthcare - Mental Health Opportunities

There have been a few developments recently that have given us a broader and more attractive range of options for our Mental Health Clinicians:

A few of the key updates from Nectar.

🔹 Queensland Health – Tier 1 Supplier
Nectar has recently been appointed as a Tier 1 Supplier across all QLD Health clusters. This is giving us priority access to new vacancies and contract extensions, along with more frequent requests from services we haven't traditionally recruited into.

🔹 More options across WA
We’re seeing a good range of roles across WA, with some new locations and services now available. This includes ongoing shift work in block bookings in Perth inpatient units.

🔹 Increased demand in Tasmania
We continue to receive regular Mental Health vacancies across Tasmania, including Inpatient, Community and Acute Care / Triage. With Tassie summer around the corner, it is worth considering.

🔹 Christmas & New Year planning has started
Services are already planning their staffing requirements across the Christmas and New Year period. As a result, clinicians are securing contracts further in advance than usual, with opportunities already being discussed through to January 2027.

Proud moment for The Hive! 🐝

We’re excited to share that Nectar has been appointed as a Tier 1 supplier across EVERY Hospital Health Service within Queensland Health.

This is a huge achievement for us and our candidates. This is something our team has worked incredibly hard towards. We are extremely thankful for all our past and current nurses and midwives who have helped make this happen. 🍯

Being appointed Tier 1 now means Nectar will have priority access to contracts and have the first opportunity to support any nurse of midwife wanting an extension. 🥇
