Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mums out there! 💕

They say today is our special day, but I truly believe mothers should be celebrated every single day…

Mums are incredible human beings who give so much of themselves every day without expecting anything in return. They give because they carry in their hearts the purest form of love — the kind of love that puts another human being before themselves.

They give through happiness, sadness, exhaustion, and even sickness… they simply never stop. And despite doing all of that, sometimes they still wonder if they are doing enough 🤷🏻‍♀️

Dear mums, I feel you. Our work never ends. Some days we laugh, other days we cry. Some days we feel like we’ve got it all figured out, and other days we feel completely lost.

Motherhood is this incredible journey that turns our lives upside down, challenges us, and brings out a version of ourselves we didn’t even know existed. It’s also the most rewarding journey of all. And while we teach our children, we also learn, grow, and evolve ourselves…

Dear mums, never forget how special you are and what a beautiful mission was given to you. May you always feel celebrated, loved, and appreciated. And through all of this, never forget yourself — because you deserve to be cared for too.

To my beautiful mum: thank you for everything you are, for everything you have done, and for everything you continue to do for me. I love and admire you so much.

Saying goodbye to February with our hearts full of gratitude 🙏

Nōva is now 6 years old. We look back and we can’t believe how fast these 6 years went. So many ups and downs, so many challenges. A few lockdowns, 2 pregnancies, 2 kids…we can’t say it has been easy, but it’s been an incredible journey, full of learning and growth. ✨

I thank God for being my rock. I thank my family for having my back, and believing in myself even when I thought I couldn’t do it. I thank the Nōva Team for embracing this beautiful journey with me. I thank every single client for allowing us to look after them, for trusting and supporting us❤️

6 years went by, but our mission and commitment remain the same. Nōva was created to be a business of purpose, not only for our clients but for our team. May every single client that steps into our doors, feel cared for, and may they feel respected and valued. May they leave our clinic feeling and looking their best version. May our team, feel valued and respected, and may our clinic be a happy and healthy environment, a place where people feel proud to be part of. 💎

The 25th of August marks the 7 months of my little girl!

I woke up today reflecting on my journey and the past 7 months.

The truth is the past months have been one of the most challenging months of my life, learning to be a mother of two, running the business which is a third child, and not to mention my work as a cosmetic nurse. Sometimes, we see ourselves stretched in ways we didn’t even think it was possible.

As a woman, we see ourselves divided between the many roles we have to fill and then we question ourselves how can I do it all? As a mother, how can I be the best mother for my kids, but also the professional I want to be? How can I still pursue my dreams? Have you ever felt that way? I feel that way all the time and I would love to have the answers to those questions, but I don’t.

What I can tell you, is that I found my piece, in knowing that I can only wake up every day and give my absolutely best and as long as I am committed to that, I’ll always be heading in the right direction.

I once heard growth is painful and it’s. Growth is also necessary, without it we can’t evolve, we can’t become the person we need to be for ourselves and others and to get where we want.

In the process of becoming don’t forget yourself, look after
You, because we can’t be anything to anyone if we’re not okay.

May I never stop learning, and may I continue the process of becoming, becoming a better self for my loved ones, for all the people around me, my patients, my team, my business, and the world. Everything happens for a reason and we are all here for a reason, may I continue to live a life of purpose and fulfilment.

And remember “Life doesn’t happen to us, life happens for us”

From mother to mother…

I could tell you motherhood is easy, but I’d be lying. In my opinion, it has been the most challenging role in my life, yet the most beautiful.

From sleepless nights to tantrums, to doubt, to tiredness. I’m sure I’m not alone hey? I could just continue to list the challenges, but I choose to focus on the joy and love that inundates my heart as never before and brings the best out of me because I want to give them nothing, but my best.

Yes, motherhood is this incredible journey that brings to life a new YOU that you didn’t even know existed.
