We see ourselves as a counter culture to the

In 29 days we'll be launching Mat Pilates Solsoma which is also our Co-Founder Michelle's birthday!

We'll be taking advantage of the long weekend by offering free Pilates, Yoga and (importantly) cake all day on Monday 5 October.

We believe that supporting new, emerging and returning teachers is important for their individual growth, but also for the yoga community more broadly.

We're excited to announce the , a space for teachers to practice, grow and develop their skills while being supported by a Solsoma teacher.

Our Incubator classes will be offered monthly, free to the Solsoma community and a great opportunity to support yoga teachers on their path.

We'll be launching details over the coming week or two, so keep your eyes on the timetable.

We're also happy to hear from teachers in the area who may be interested, feel free to reach out đź’š

We're excited to share that the first phase of our refurbishments have finished. While we know change can feel complex, we hope the love we have dedicated to the space shines through and can hold you in your practice.

There is likely to be some lingering paint smell over the next 24/48 hours and we're doing out best to air out the studio. If you are sensitive, it's best you're aware, so you can decide whether you want to practice or defer for a few days.

Thank you for your patience, support and love. We hope you love it as much as we do.

My last ever post as Alasana Yoga.

Thank you to the 50-plus beautiful humans who came tonight to say goodbye.

It was so lovely to see the community all together one last time.

Thank you to the beautiful team, past and present, who have supported me over the last four years. I could never have done this without you.

To my family — well, thanks for putting up with all the stress. There has been a lot. x

And to Michelle and Chris.

I have handed you the cloths and the gumption. Put them to good use.

No, in all seriousness, I cannot wait to see the incredible things you create with Solsoma. It will be an absolute honour to walk beside you on this journey and watch it become yours.

Tomorrow, this page will all change to Solsoma.

But I am still around.

Two weeks today we will gather together for one final evening of Alasana YOGA.

A chance to say goodbye to Alasana Yoga and welcome the beautiful new chapter that is Solsoma.

It will be a night to reflect, connect, share stories and honour everything this little community has been over the past four years. While one chapter is coming to a close, another is just beginning, and I couldn't be happier knowing yoga will continue to be held in this space with Michelle and Chris.

With so many of you joining us, I've made a little change. Instead of cacao, we'll be sharing delicious chai from Blackwood in Cronulla, who are preparing it for us in a big electric urn so everyone can enjoy a warm cup together.

My heart is full knowing so many of you will be there. I can't wait to spend this special evening with you all and celebrate both an ending and a beautiful new beginning.

Same location. Same community. A new chapter.

Just a little clarification, as I know there has been some confusion.

Alasana is NOT closing.

From Monday 17 August, Michelle and Chris will be taking over the yoga side of the business and will be operating under their beautiful new brand, Solsoma, from the same studio you know and love.

Your current memberships and class passes will continue to be honoured, so you can continue attending classes as normal.

I will still be here at Alasana as the Clinical Hypnotherapist, working from the same building. I am simply stepping back from teaching yoga and running the yoga business due to my health, allowing me to focus on supporting my hypnotherapy clients.

The studio remains a safe, welcoming space, and I know Michelle and Chris will continue to nurture the wonderful community we have built together over the past four years.

Thank you all for your ongoing support, kindness and understanding. It truly means the world to me.
