Plot twist: your best lip liner barely looks like lip liner. 👄

For me, it’s all about getting the shade right. Enough colour to bring back definition, without that obvious “I’m wearing lip liner” outline.

Petal is a warm, mid-toned pink that just seems to work with your natural lip colour. You can also shade it all over the lip under lipstick when you want to make the shade throw a little more pink.

And yes… that gloss at the end. 👀

You might be seeing a little more of those around here very soon. 🤭

Good lighting + magnification = SUCH a difference when you’re doing your makeup ✨

No more leaning into the bathroom mirror, squinting or hoping your eyeliner looks even 😂

Choose 7X or 10X magnification, flip to 1X for your full look, then adjust the lighting to suit wherever you’re getting ready.

Eyeliner, mascara, brows, blending… everything just feels SO much easier when you can actually see what you’re doing 👀

Once you get used to doing your makeup with magnification, it’s very hard to go back 💕

A little story about this mirror… 🤍

I was staying at this hotel for a conference and couldn’t find my mirror anywhere. I was convinced I’d forgotten to pack it. 😩

My first thought? Well… I guess I’m not wearing eyeliner or mascara today. 😂

Without that 7X magnification, this girl simply can’t do her eye makeup anymore. 👵🏻🤣

Thankfully, after turning my suitcase inside out, it finally appeared. Crisis averted. 😅

First-world problems? Absolutely. But it also made me realise just how much I’ve come to rely on a little magnification these days. Once you get used to actually seeing what you’re doing, it’s very hard to go back.

One question I’ve been getting over and over…

“When are the lip glosses coming back?” 🤍

The truth is, I could have brought back the old formula and you would have been happy. But I didn’t want to.

Instead, I wanted to create the very best version of the Melli lip gloss.

Over the past year, we’ve been refining the formula, approving and reiterating shade samples, making adjustments, and making sure every detail felt right. My goal wasn’t to reinvent it. It was to keep everything you loved while upgrading it for today.

The result? A formula that still feels unmistakably Melli… just better.

We’ll be launching with five shades. A mix of beautiful new shades… plus the return of ICON. Because if I didn’t include ICON in the very first production run, I’m pretty sure I’d never hear the end of it. 😂

We’re on track for a September launch, with the official date to be announced.

Thank you for sticking with me while we’ve taken the extra time to get these right. I truly believe they’re worth the wait, and I can’t wait for you to try them. 🤍
