Somewhere along the way, did we lose the art of a good old-fashioned lipstick touch-up?

Or did we just start worrying too much about what everyone else thinks? 😂

Anyway, here’s me in Washington Square Park, minding my own business, causally reapplying my lipstick in broad daylight. As one should. 💋

And yes, that’s our new Lilac Lumi-Zoom mirror making a little appearance. 💜

The lipstick is AUDREY, which has unfortunately left the building (sold out!), but a VERY small number will be back mid-November. You’ll need quick fingers for that one.

And if you love Audrey, I have a feeling you’ll get along rather nicely with our ICON gloss, also making its return next month.

Apparently November is bringing a few old flames back into our lives. 💄

My first morning in NYC and apparently the jet lag came with a side of excessive yapping. 😂🗽

It was my one and only full free day in New York until a dinner and drinks with the Muthership Creator Studio crew so the plan was a very natural makeup look before heading off for a wander around the West Village. No real agenda, just a day of getting wonderfully lost & finding Hungry Llama Cafe & Restaurant which did not disappoint 👌🏻 and met so many doggos along the way on my walk 🐶

I’m sharing a few makeup tips and tricks I’ve picked up over a few decades as a makeup artist, with several completely unrelated conversations thrown in for free.

I stayed at Moxy Chelsea on my last trip and loved it so much I came back for the first part of my trip . Those enormous windows and all that glorious natural light! A makeup artist’s dream. I could quite happily set up camp here.

Anyway, grab a coffee, possibly a snack. There’s a perfectly good natural makeup tutorial hiding somewhere amongst all the yapping. ☕️💄

And if you can hear sirens in the background, that’s just New York providing the complimentary soundtrack. No trending audio required. 🚒�
