As you know, Bec and I are so passionate about what we do and love coming to work each day.

We opened Symmetry two weeks before our very first lockdown and have been closed for almost 7 months out of the time we’ve been open, some businesses qualified for grants and some haven’t, us being one of the unlucky ones being a new business.

Yesterday I made the incredibly difficult decision to close my beautiful business. The stress and worry has been insurmountable and as most of you know, I have two other businesses to look after as well as my entire team.

As of this morning Symmetry Ink will be closed and not reopening. Our hearts are broken, given the effort, love and passion we have poured into making this a success, not considering a pandemic in the slightest.

Both Bec and I want to thank you so much for your continued and consistent support, cheering us on and being so kind through this all.

The good news is that Bec and I will both be at Elevate Hub across the road, I will be rostering Bec on soon so you are very welcome to see her for your regular appointments over at Elevate.

We’ve barely scraped through but we’re hanging in there and will continue to ride these waves with your support.

I know that so many other business owners are in the same position, some families have been devastated and so many lives lost. I really hope with all my heart that you personally are ok and have found some way to cope through this fractured time, perhaps even thrived somehow.

I know that some clients are mid-tattoo and have paid deposits, if that’s you, please be patient, we will transfer or refund you after the 'mad rush of opening' settles down and will do so as fast as we can.

Bec and I are missing you all so much and will be breaking every hugging rule there is when we see you again, so come in strong for a hug if you need one!!
