You’ll ensure optimal comfort for our clients by assisting with activities of daily living and other care as determined by the needs and the care plans of the clients we support, and this may include;

Key Responsibilities
• Supporting clients with complex and/or challenging needs
• Personal care: Bowel care, showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
• Domestic assistance: light housework (cleaning, laundry and meal preparation)
• Supporting clients who use personal equipment /aid, this may include walking or standing frames, wheelchairs, hoists
• Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress
• Social Activities: Transporting clients to their appointments, shopping, any planned social activity

Essential Criteria:
• Right to Work in Australia such as passport, birth certificate etc.
• Driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain within before employment
• Police check
• Working With Children Check
Desirable Criteria
• Experience providing complex personal care
• Certificate III or IV in disabilities or similar is desirable (willingness and the ability to obtain is essential)
