Your skin is the biggest organ in your body. It reflects what is happening on the inside and filters out the toxins and pollutants of our world. It is constantly under stress and it is so important to be mindful of what you put on it and how you take care of it. When I was younger I would use anything on my skin. Chemicals, pollutants, acid based skincare- craziness! But as the years wen

t on I became more concerned with some of the ingredients I found in my skincare. Sulphates, parabens, fragrances, dyes, petrochemicals- what does all this stuff mean? After delving deeper I found that these are all known irritants and that most brands including the higher end more expensive products that claim to be natural contain these chemicals. Some even contain numbing agents to stop the sting these irritants are known to cause. Most list their main ingredient as water which can actually dry the skin as it evaporates instead of moisturising it- leaving your skin always wanting more. I started to think about how many of these chemicals are absorbed into my body and what they were doing to my health. I started to think about how these products are tested on animals, or derived from animal products. I started to think that if skincare is higher quality and filled with beautiful, natural, organic ingredients with no fillers they must be better for your skin. I started to think that a higher concentration must be more affordable as you don't need as much. After all of this I began to believe that there must be a safe, natural, kind way to care for my skin that leaves it soft and beautiful- which led me to this! After months of research, numerous batch variations and testing (on myself, my friends, my family and a few other willing participants ) I developed Delicious Skin. Tried to take a photo of my hair, which was feeling good, and my sweet baby was ready in every shot 😂 swipe to see! I’ve also been keeping my skin feeling and looking clear and bright, despite being indoors so much, by cleansing and exfoliating and 2-3 times a day application of our supple serum. It is my skin saviour!! My skin care routine is so simple. Cleanse ➡️ Moisturise. And drink loads of water!

It’s really starting to feel like spring has sprung here in Sydney! Who else is enjoying the warmer weather and blossoming blooms everywhere, despite the ongoing lockdown? We’re well and truly in Groundhog Day mode here but trying to get ourselves into the sun each day, eat well and keep hydrated. How are you surviving lockdown?

Hope everyone in lockdown in Sydney is enjoying the change in the weather from yesterday! I hate the wind, it makes me so nervous. I’ve got my $1 pots of bunnings reject lavender getting some sun on my bedroom windowsill and just watching it is bringing my joy today ☀️
