Music has such an impact on us. It’s invisible but it is felt. When attending the Australian World Orchestra this week, the shear number of instruments and the diversity of sounds from harp to double base, piccolo to euphonium, not to mention the timpany, the triangle and spectacular Soprano voice- paired with the soundscapes of Mahler- I could feel the music vibrate through my body, halting my thoughts as the sounds vibrated through me, taking us on a musical journey of highs and lows, of love, drama, destruction and joy. Really hearing and feeling music is a form of meditation. I love that it commands our presence and attention and nothing else matters in those moments. Music for Wellmums.

There’s nothing more warming than a tea cup made with love and with all natural materials- you can feel the eeiihh experience of how yummy it feels in your hands, how it brings out the flavour in your tea and the warmth of it spreads through you. It’s that priceless benefit we get when nature and personal craft comes together in something that touches our senses. When drinking tea in hand made earthenware tea cups takes tea drinking to the heart of wellbeing. The art of tea is fundamental in Japanese tradition and many other cultures, it grounds you in the present moment as your senses come to life. Tea drinking like a Wellmum. Nature. Art. Meditative tea practice and a moment to ourselves. 🙏⭐️ 🍵
