Pfizer/Moderna COVID19 vaccine is a mRNA vaccine. In laymen's terms, they inject instruction code into us and let the body do the rest. Like installing software on a computer! Amazing. I believe this is a giant step for mankind if we can make it work. The US government announced last week that it had reached a $1.95 billion deal to buy 100 million doses of Pfizer’s vaccine by the year’s end, but only if the trial proves it safe and effective. That's a pretty good sign.

The studies each aim to enroll 30,000 people and determine whether the vaccines are safe and effective.

Low sensitivity (high false negatives) means pharmacies in Australia won't administer these. I think they're an amazing additional way to find clusters. We Test is providing these in countries that don't have large lab numbers. USA are doing it in pharmacies, I believe it's only a matter of time Australia jumps on board. Would you pay $20 for a quick test that's 90% correct?
