In case you missed it: this week’s home and community care news had a focus on CHSP, including part four of the Enkindle Consulting home care outlook report finding providers are concerned that Support at Home is not stable enough to absorb CHSP, Anne Ruston questioning Department of Health, Disability and Ageing representatives on the uncertainty surrounding the CHSP transition and the CHSP Alliance calling for no increases to CHSP co-payments. Other news included the Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority releasing its pricing advice for Support at Home, Tanya Davison discussing the importance of mental health in aged care services, a $2.6 million grant round for dementia researchers opening and Silverchain opening a new clinical service centre.
