Northern Beaches Tattoo Removal

Northern Beaches Tattoo Removal Some side effects are erythema, pigmentary changes, hyper-pigmentation & hypo-pigmentation, blistering & crusting, scarring, discomfort and wound infection.

Tattoos have become more popular & mainstream but with that comes an increasing number of people who regret their decision, whether it be from a bad design or change in career now with the latest Q-Switch Laser technology a tattoo is no longer PERMANENT. Before attempting to treat a tattoo it is important to evaluate its complexity in terms of being able to estimate the number of treatment session

s required to fully remove it, but also to assess the risk of unwanted side effects. The most important steps to a successful tattoo removal are:
- Choosing the right Laser Specialist.
- Be patient, your body needs time to flush ink particles out.
- Correct time left between appointments for healing & to avoid unnecessary treatments. Too often, older lasers or intense pulsed light sources are used to treat tattoos, often with significant scarring. In general amateur tattoos require fewer treatment sessions & less aggressive treatment settings than professional tattoos, although amateur tattoos are less predictable because of the varying depths of the inserted pigments and tattoo pigment quality. Older tattoos may or may not be easier to remove than newer ones. Bright coloured inks will generally needs more treatment.

Can You Get Laser Tattoo Removal While Breastfeeding?

Laser tattoo removal is generally not recommended while breastfeeding. The main concerns are:
1. Toxin Release – The laser breaks down tattoo ink into tiny particles that the body eliminates through the lymphatic system. While there’s no direct evidence that these particles enter breast milk, it’s a theoretical risk.
2. Pain Management – Some people use numbing creams or pain medications before or after the procedure, which could affect breast milk.
3. Skin Sensitivity & Healing – Hormonal changes during breastfeeding can make skin more sensitive and prone to irritation or slower healing.

How Long Should You Wait After a Session to Breastfeed?

If you proceed with laser tattoo removal while breastfeeding, you should wait at least 12–24 hours before nursing again, depending on the numbing agents or medications used.

If no numbing agents or medications are used, there is no definitive evidence that laser tattoo removal directly affects breast milk. However, because the body breaks down and eliminates ink particles through the lymphatic system, some experts recommend waiting at least 24 hours before breastfeeding as a precaution.

This allows your body some time to begin processing and eliminating any ink fragments. While there is no proven risk of these particles entering breast milk, waiting a day gives your body a chance to manage any inflammatory response.

If you’re unsure, it’s always best to consult your healthcare provider before proceeding. Your safety and peace of mind come first!

Did you know? LED therapy was actually developed by NASA to help astronauts heal injuries and tissue damage sustained while in space.
🌿
In the same way that plants use chlorophyll to convert sunlight into plant tissue, high intensity light emitting diodes (LEDs) utilising specific, proven wavelengths of light can trigger a natural biostimulatory effect in human tissue. Research has shown that phototherapy can increase circulation, accelerate tissue repair, kill acne bacteria, decrease inflammation, improve skin tone, texture and clarity, as well as ease muscle and joint pain, stiffness, spasm, and arthritis.
🦶🏻
Human skin is comprised of multiple layers ranging from the superficial stratum corneum to the deeper subcutaneous tissue. The wavelength of light used determines the pe*******on depth through tissue, and different wavelengths will pe*****te to varying depths. Three effective wavelengths the Celluma Pro device delivers are 465 nm blue, 640 nm red, and 880 nm near-infrared, and each wavelength is associated with particular beneficial effects.
Research indicates that cells absorb particles of light (photons) and transform their energy into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the form of energy that cells utilise. The resulting elevation of ATP is then used to power metabolic processes; synthesise DNA, RNA, proteins, enzymes, and other products needed to repair or regenerate cell components; foster mitosis or cell proliferation; and restore homeostasis.
💚
LED can be done as a quick 30-minute express treatment, or added to any facial treatment!

Everyday our number one question is how many treatments will i need? ⚡️
There are many factors that are needed to be considered, using the scale is a great place to start. Total points = number of treatments*
DM or call to book consultation & test patch.
