This week I ran the first session of my free meditation series, Finding Your Inner Peace.

The irony?
I spent most of the week feeling like I was being followed around by jackhammers, traffic, noise, chaos, and a whole lot of not-peace.

Maybe inner peace isn't something we find when life becomes peaceful.
Perhaps we learn about it best right in the middle of the chaos.

The theme that emerged for the group was Peace-Keeping vs Inner Peace.
One of the things we explored was when we are keeping the peace around us, while giving away the peace within us.

Because sometimes we become so focused on keeping everyone else happy, avoiding conflict, or smoothing things over, that we lose ourselves in the process.
Just something to get curious about.

I totally get it. My mind used to be non-stop and loud.

The thing is, many of us have never actually been taught how to slow down, switch off, and return to ourselves in a way that feels natural, achievable, and free from pressure or guilt.

This is not a "sit still and empty your mind" type of meditation.

Instead, you'll be gently guided through simple healing and balancing practices that work with a busy mind rather than fighting against it.

We give the mind something helpful to do.

Through guided exercises, visualisations, and meditation practices, you'll be gently led into a place of calm, balance, and real, felt peace.

Helping to reduce the stress load you're carrying, and gently reset for the week ahead.

Finding a way to meditate that works for you can give you a whole new filter through which to experience life.

Life often feels easier, clearer, and more manageable when viewed and experienced through a lens of peace rather than stress.

Do you ever notice how busy your mind becomes when you’re stressed, overwhelmed, or trying to “work things out”?

A looping, busy mind takes a lot of energy and focus, and can leave you feeling exhausted and checked out.

Many people think the issue is what their thoughts are saying, but most of the time a busy or frantic mind is simply trying to make sense of what the body is feeling.

When emotional energy builds up in the system, the mind steps in to analyse, solve, and control.
And it often blames the situations or people around us.

But meaningful emotional healing and clearing doesn’t happen through more thinking.

It begins by gently reconnecting with the body and the sensations underneath the mental noise, and learning (or remembering) how to move this through safely.

This is the foundation of the somatic therapy approach called Embodied Processing:
supporting you to understand and resolve unhealthy emotional patterns, resource and regulate your nervous system, and process the stress, emotional triggers, and baggage your body has been holding - so your mind can naturally become clearer and calmer.

While returning yourself to a baseline of calm, wisdom, and connection.

✨ Ever get a case of the “not good enoughs”?

That quiet voice whispering…
“You’re not smart enough.”
“You’re not ready enough.”
“You’re not as good as them.”
" You're not attractive enough."

Sometimes it shows up as procrastination, or feeling stuck, or giving up.
Sometimes as imposter syndrome.
Other times, it’s that heavy feeling that no matter what you do, it’s never quite enough.

If this happens with you, you’re not alone.
In my latest Substack post, Feeling Good Enough, I unpack what can be going on under the surface, causing the “less than” feelings.

Because often, what looks like self-doubt or lack of confidence is actually something deeper. An old protective pattern, still trying to keep us safe.

The good news? These patterns and beliefs can be unwound. Healing these patterns is absolutely possible.

Unhealthy coping isn’t your fault… but there’s a better way.

Wine, w**d, yelling, scrolling, snapping, zoning out…
They’re all just survival strategies we’ve picked up to manage emotions we were never taught how to feel.

But emotions aren’t the enemy. They’re messengers. And they don’t need to be numbed, ignored, or feared. They need to be felt, processed, and understood.

Most of what we call “mental health symptoms” may be emotional pain that’s been trapped, suppressed, or misunderstood for years.
Society teaches us to shut it down.

But what if your emotions are actually the key?
To your health. Your clarity. Your peace. Your power.
To become the adult who can handle anything life brings.

I am away right now. But felt inspired to share a bit of what has been happening, spending 2 weeks in my own company!

So much has changed for me since doing deep embodiment and somatic healing work, including how travel, rest, and relate to life.

There are whales, crystals, rainforests… and a deeper kind of nourishment I never used to know was possible.
