✨ Treatment 2 of Laura’s Jaw Release Journey ✨
Another surprise!
This week, Laura presented with some tension, particularly through the left side of her neck, mentioning that she had slept awkwardly.
After the treatment, Laura reported feeling good and having more movement through her neck.
I also noticed a significant change through the base of the skull (occipital region). When I checked the area again at the end of the treatment, there was noticeably more give and the tissue felt looser than when we started.
I also noticed more movement and softness through the temporal region.
These before and after photos were taken approximately one hour after treatment.
My observations included:
✨ Softer, less pronounced nasolabial folds (smile lines)
✨ Reduced puffiness through the face
✨ Reduced puffiness through the neck
✨ A softer, more relaxed appearance overall
While the aesthetic changes are beautiful to see, what interests me most as a therapist is how the body feels and moves following treatment.
Jaw Release Therapy works beyond the jaw, with the treatment including the chest, neck, arms, temporals, jaw, chin, diaphragm, pelvis, calves and feet to help release patterns of tension throughout the body.
I’m really enjoying seeing how each treatment unfolds and continuing to refine my skills as I work through my training.
