Today we said goodbye to someone truly special โ€“ our dear Wafa โ€“ as she begins her well-deserved retirement. ๐Ÿ’™

After more than 13 years with MHDS, Wafa is moving on to a new chapter in her life, and itโ€™s safe to say the centre felt her absence the moment she walked out the door. There were tears today at the day program, because Wafa wasnโ€™t just a colleague โ€“ she was family.

Her dedication, kindness, and genuine love for both staff and participants shone through in everything she did. Wafa never asked for anything in return, always giving from the heart and treating everyone with the respect and warmth they deserved.

We will deeply miss her laughter, her compassion, and the way she made every person feel valued and cared for. Wafa leaves behind a legacy of love, and though we are sad to see her go, we are also celebrating her amazing career and all she has given to our community.

Thank you, Wafa, for everything. Enjoy your retirement โ€“ you will always be part of our MHDS family. ๐Ÿ’โค๏ธ
