We believe the dinner table is the new spiritual technology.

A place to slow down.
To listen more deeply.
To be in community.
To make a little more space for beauty, curiosity and connection.

A place where ideas can meet, stories can be shared, and something unexpected might emerge between us.

So, take your seat at the table.

Arundhati Roy reminds us:
"There's really no such thing as the 'voiceless.' There are only the deliberately silenced, or the preferably unheard." Silence is a decision. So is looking away.

Some moments in history don't ask for our opinions. They ask for our witness.

Women and children stand at the center of every war's blast radius, the ones most exposed to violence, to exploitation, to the traffickers. They are not casualties of some distant conflict. They are the terms by which we should measure whether we are, in fact, a civilisation.

So perhaps the real question of our time is not only how we witness, but what happens the moment we start deciding, quietly, unconsciously, whose humanity is worth defending. That decision is being made every day, by governments, by algorithms, by our own averted eyes.

Ayya Yeshe is back in Sydney.

We’re honoured to welcome the Australian Buddhist nun for the next SUPPER UNYOKED — an intimate evening exploring luminous awareness, and how both bliss and rupture can become portals to freedom.

This is not a lecture.
It’s a lived inquiry.
A space to sit at the edge of what we can explain — and what we can feel.

This special supper is supporting the Bodhicitta Foundation.
All proceeds go towards enabling women and girls in India to attend school.

Come for the conversation.
Stay for what opens.

The rose and the thorn are both waiting.

Cat Kabira's work begins with the body — the nervous system, the energy field, and the quiet intelligence that lives beneath the habits of productivity and self-override that so many women carry.

In this small gathering we’ll explore practices to regulate the nervous system, reclaim healthy boundaries and reconnect with the deeper awareness that lives within the body.

Because when women return to their bodies, something shifts. Our perception sharpens. Our energy steadies. Our ability to meet the world without losing ourselves becomes possible.

19 Apr 2026, 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm
YOKE HQ, 82 Pitt St, Redfern NSW 2016

This is no ordinary gathering. There are no long tables or chairs. We meet on the mat.

Sacred rage sharpens boundaries.
It restores vitality.
It turns depletion into discernment,
and suppression into truth.

At the long table, we gather to honour the fire—
to tend Agni, the intelligence of the belly,
and restore Ojas, our radiance and nourishment.

Guided by Ayurvedic therapist Supriya Ruparelia
we enter ritual, nourishment, and emotional alchemy—
where ancient wisdom meets the lived realities of women today.

Huge thanks to our special supper guest who travelled across seas and highways to be with us especially once more. Back by popular demand. Venerable Yeshe much gratitude for sharing your wisdom and voice. Bodhicitta Foundation

Donations are certainly welcomed. We can change lives.

The Indian community they work with are largely people who have been held back by the Caste System. Women and children often fall prey to domestic violence, harsh and exploitative work, child marriage, disease, and often struggle to even survive. Ayya Yeshe, with her locally trained staff, are striving to help them overcome discrimination, reclaim their human dignity, and help them realise their full potential.
