Our peace is worth protecting.

Not everything needs a response, your energy, or your attention.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is pause, breathe, and come back to the present moment.

For me, that's often a quiet walk by the ocean at sunrise and a gentle stretch. A simple reminder that peace is never as far away as we think. 💙

Warmly,
Chetana

A REMINDER TO MYSELF. .

Gratitude is one of the simplest practices we can have, yet it's often the first thing to slip away when life starts feeling better.

Over the past couple of years, with health challenges, gratitude has become more than a nice idea for me. It's been an anchor.

Research shows gratitude can reduce stress, improve mood, support our wellbeing, and even help reduce inflammation in the body.

But beyond the science, it gently shifts our focus from what's wrong to what's still good, even on the difficult days.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on Gratitude.

Do you have a gratitude practice, or is it something you tend to forget about until life gets challenging?

Warmly
Chetana

After seven years, I'm heading back to India.

Partly because this body is asking for a little TLC and some Ayurvedic care.

Partly because I get to reconnect with my dear friend Mahima. We've shared many special moments over the years, and I can't wait to see her again.

But the biggest reason?

I'm doing a recce for our India Retreat this November.

I haven't been back since 2019, before the world changed, and it's important to me that I personally revisit every location, reconnect with our local providers, experience the accommodation, sample massages and the food (someone has to do it! 😉), and make sure everything is exactly as I want it to be for our group.

Over the coming weeks, I'll be sharing behind the scenes moments, live updates, beautiful locations, and a glimpse into what awaits those joining us later this year.

I fly out next week, so if India has been calling your name, come along for the journey and follow me here on Instagram and Facebook.

With only 4 places remaining on the November retreat, this is a wonderful opportunity to get a feel for the experience and see whether it might be calling you too.

India, here I come. 🇮🇳🙏

Over the years, I’ve had so many women quietly ask me similar questions before coming on retreat…

“Will it be full of young women?”
“Do I need to be fit?”
“What if I’ve never really done yoga or meditation before?”
“Will I feel comfortable coming on my own?”

If you’ve ever wondered those things too, you’re definitely not alone.

So I’ve put together a blog answering the questions I hear most often before women say yes to retreat.

And honestly, underneath many of these questions is usually something deeper… the longing to slow down, reconnect, breathe more deeply and feel like yourself again.

Whether it’s Sydney, Bali, Nepal or India, my retreats are about so much more than yoga poses.

They’re about calming the nervous system, meaningful connection, spiritual immersion, reflection, laughter, rest and experiencing life more fully again.

You can read the blog here. 👇

I hope it helps answer some of your questions and gives you a little feel for what these retreats are truly about.

I’m already planning the retreats I’ll be running in 2027, and if you’d like first access and early updates, I share more on Instagram. I also share reflections and free practices that may support you along the way. If you’re not following yet, you’re invited to follow along to stay connected and updated.

Happy Mother’s Day 💛

I’m sending you a quiet wish for a day that feels calm, spacious, and gently nourishing.

Mothering isn’t only about being a mother.
It’s the act of caring, holding, and offering your presence when someone needs it most.

It lives in the way you listen, support, guide, and quietly show up for others
with children, with friends, with family
and in the everyday moments of kindness and understanding.

Often, it’s given so naturally, without recognition.
Yet it carries a depth that touches people more than you may ever realise.

And while so much of that care flows outward, today is a gentle invitation to turn some of it back toward yourself.

As a small gift for you, I’m sharing a restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra practice.
A space to switch off, unwind, and be held in deep rest.

You can access it through the link below. 👇

Wishing you a day that meets you exactly where you are. 🙏🏻

The day began gently, out on the water.

We set off for a sunrise boat tour, the sky slowly waking around us. Soft light on the horizon, the ocean calm, a quiet sense of reflection settling in. There was a stillness in the group, a shared awareness that something meaningful had come to completion.

Back on land, breakfast was slower. Conversations softer. Moments savoured.

Soon after, we gathered one last time for our closing ceremony. A space to reflect, to share, to honour the journey each woman has been on, both seen and unseen.

There was gratitude. There were tears. There was laughter too.

And beneath it all, a quiet knowing that something has shifted. Something that will continue to unfold long after leaving this place.

Bags were packed. Goodbyes exchanged, not as endings, but as the beginning of something new.

Because this is the nature of these retreats. You arrive as strangers, and leave with something deeper. Connection, clarity, and a remembrance of who you truly are.

Until next time 🌿

If you feel called to experience this for yourself, you’re warmly invited to join us on the next Bali retreat.

Lately, I’ve been paying even closer attention to my breath.

In the busier moments of the day, I notice how simply choosing to breathe more steadily brings me back to myself. One deeper inhale, a longer exhale, and my whole system starts to settle.

After chanting, or resting in Yoga Nidra, the breath feels spacious and natural. My body softens. My mind quietens. There is a sense of being held from within.

I am reminded, again and again, that presence lives inside each breath. Not in the next thing on the list, but right here.

May this be your reminder to pause, breathe, and give yourself a moment of stillness today.

Warmly,
Chetana

🌸 🎶 An Afternoon of Sound & Consciousness 🎶 🌸

I’m so looking forward to spending an afternoon with my very first Nāda Yoga teacher, Anandra, as she shares The Sanskrit Story of Creation and Consciousness — a journey through sacred sound, mantra, and meaning.

If you’ve ever felt the power of vibration to shift your energy, this one’s for you.

Expect a rich, heart-opening blend of sound, wisdom, and kirtan led by Geeti & Gyan.

🎶 Watch the short video and discover what this workshop is all about:

It’s going to be a magical, soul-stirring afternoon — I can’t wait.

Hope to see you there. (Oh, don't dilly dally, numbers will be capped).

As the world feels uncertain and heavy at times, Diwali reminds us of a simple truth: the light we seek outside must first be kindled within.

When we tend to our inner flame — through presence, compassion, stillness, and clarity — the way we see and experience the world begins to change. Our outer reality is a projection of the state of our inner world.

This Diwali, may we each choose to clear the shadows of doubt, fear, and separation. May we honour the radiance of peace and love that lives in us all.

The greatest offering we can give is to become a light for ourselves and others. 🌟

Wishing you a Diwali filled with stillness, strength, and a spark that continues to shine long after the lamps are extinguished.

With warmth,
Chetana x
