Join Dean for a deeply nourishing seasonal workshop exploring the wisdom of Winter through the lens of Rhoyo Japanese Yoga. Rooted in traditional Eastern philosophy, this experience is designed to help you better understand the connection between the seasons, your body, your energy and your wellbeing.
We’ll begin with grounding breathwork before exploring the Winter element of Water and its connection to the Kidney and Bladder meridians. Dean will guide you through how this season influences our physical, emotional and energetic bodies, and share the practices that can help us stay balanced, resilient and well throughout the colder months.
From there, you’ll be taken on a journey through a Invigorating Rhoyo Yoga practice designed specifically for Winter, with an opportunity to understand the meaning behind the poses and how they support the body’s needs during this season.
The experience will conclude with a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra, followed by time to rest, reflect and journal on what you may be conserving, releasing or cultivating this Winter.
Afterwards, you’ll be invited to gather over warm brown rice and miso soup while Dean shares insights into seasonal nourishment and why these simple, traditional foods are particularly supportive at this time of year.
You’ll also receive a take-home guide featuring key teachings, meridians, poses, self-care practices and seasonal nutrition tips, allowing you to continue integrating the wisdom of Winter long after the workshop ends.
A beautiful afternoon of movement, learning, nourishment and restoration.
Suitable for all levels.
