I think one of the reasons this stage of life can feel so confusing is because we often assume something must be wrong with us.

We don’t feel the same as we used to.
Things that once felt fine don’t quite feel fine anymore.
We feel flat, disconnected, stuck somehow, but we can’t fully explain why.

And because there’s not always a dramatic reason for it, we tend to make ourselves wrong for feeling that way.

We think maybe we’re ungrateful, or lazy, or maybe we’ve just lost motivation somehow.

So we push through it.
We keep going.
We try to get back to who we were before.

I think that’s what makes this stage so hard to recognise while you’re inside it.

Because the changes are often subtle in the beginning.

You don’t necessarily realise you’ve changed. You just know your life doesn’t feel the same anymore.

And maybe that’s the part we don’t talk about enough.

Maybe the problem isn’t that you’re failing.

Maybe something in your life just no longer fits anymore.

When I feel disconnected, I know for myself my mind gets busy.

I start tuning into all the stress and pressure around me instead of actually being present with what’s happening.

And the more disconnected I feel, the smaller life can start to feel.

That’s probably the best way I can explain it.

And one place this can be reflected back to us is in our relationship with money.

Money starts to feel outside of us.
Like something we have to pursue, hold onto, or control.

Everything starts getting filtered through fear, pressure, urgency, and limitation.

And I think that’s why connection matters so much.

Because when we lose that connection to ourselves, to life, to the deeper part of who we are… we forget that we are more than the fear running through our mind.

And I think that’s why reconnecting matters.

Not because life suddenly becomes perfect…
but because we stop seeing everything through such a narrow, contracted lens.

We open to new levels of awareness and consciousness…
and with that, new possibilities begin to emerge.
