Fatigue is so much more than feeling tired 🄱 It’s the mental load, the guilt, the pressure to keep showing up when your body is asking you to stop and rest. Not just sleep. Rest 😌

Working with people through illness, recovery, and everyday life has taught me one thing.
Listening to your body will shift fatigue more than pushing through ever will. Rest is part of the work. Not something you earn.

If you need someone to help you remember that, or need support managing fatigue, I’m your gal 🧔

I learn so much from other yoga teachers. From cuing to philosophy to intentional sequencing and holding space, I learn. And it makes me better in class. I will always be a student and I’m so lucky to have so many incredible teachers.

Huge shout out to and for such a fun and supportive inversion workshop yesterday. I tried my first ever kakasana (crow pose) to headstand yesterday 🤩

I just got a new yoga mat! My mat is an important part of my practice and my work. It holds me and grounds me. It’s my island and sanctuary. It’s where my body and breath meet the earth. 🧔

This gorgeous mat is from , hand painted by First Nations artists Malara Rise.

In a yoga therapy session, we’re always working with how you are on the day. Your mood, energy, pain or discomfort, hormones, stress levels, etc.

Your practice is meant to support wherever you’re at. If you need more rest, that’s what we’ll prioritise, if you need more movement, we’ll work with that. And we’ll update your practice to support your day to day. It’s never one-size-fits-all.

If you’ve got questions about yoga therapy, I have answers šŸ™ƒ get in touch ā™„ļø

Floating Yoga Nidra is such a special practice. You are held in a swing, gently swaying in rhythm with your breath. It’s a 40 minutes guided practice, a chance to reset, breathe and just be. Come rest with us 🧔

I’m really happy to share that I’m now a Private Health Approved Provider for yoga and yoga therapy.

It feels important to see support growing for services like yoga therapy, especially for people navigating complex health conditions, recovery, and ongoing care.

Some health funds have already begun including yoga therapy again, with others in the process of reintroducing it, so you may be able to claim a rebate depending on your cover.

If you’ve been curious about working together, this might make it a little more accessible. I’m always here for a chat if you want to know more 🧔

I got my first ever mammogram this week. I work with people experiencing breast cancer and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that early detection and treatment significantly improves your chances of recovery. Self check your b***s regularly and get a mammogram when it’s time to ā™„ļø

We are so good at pushing through. Through pain. Illness. Exhaustion. Hunger. So good at it that we’ve forgotten how to listen to what our bodies need. I’m guilty of this too sometimes. But I’m getting so much better at catching myself. That too is the practice. Noticing.

What are you pushing through?
