Professor Richard Scolyer has died from glioblastoma aged 59. The melanoma researcher, who volunteered to undergo experimental immunotherapy to treat his own cancer, had prepared a statement to be published after his death. He expressed his hope that he had created a platform to eventually save future cancer patients.
