You already know about Radio - FREE & 24/7, for anyone in Australia who needs it. 💚
A couple of weeks ago visited 's open day & came away genuinely impressed. Second most listened to station in the area, right behind KISS FM. The reach is real!
Research says people need to hear something 3.2 times before it sticks. That's exactly why we built Radio - because the more people hear that support exists & recovery is possible, the more it lands & the less taboo the subject of Mental Health becomes - right????

Big words with zero pressure. 💛 The 5 Cs of Mental Health sound like things you either have or you don't, but honestly? Sometimes you're just faking it til you make it and that's not failure, that's the start.
💚 Coping can just be getting out of bed & eating something. That counts.
💚Connection can be one text back. Still connection.
💚Confidence can be doing one small thing scared. Still brave.
💚Compassion can be just pausing before you're hard on yourself. Still kind.
💚Commitment can just mean choosing yourself again tomorrow.
The smallest step forward still moves you forward. 💛

Better late than never, & honestly, this one was worth the wait. 🎉

Back in May, we celebrated TWO YEARS of maverick supports with our incredible clients & staff. It's been a whirlwind of a year - full of connection, hard work, big moments & even bigger hearts, & we couldn't let it pass without marking it properly.

We shouted everyone lunch, brought out the most amazing Maverick Supports biscuits, & soaked up every second of the afternoon together. Were we a little too slow on getting the photos? Absolutely. Honestly though; that's because everyone was just... living in the moment. By the time we thought about grabbing the camera, half the room had already moved on. That's the Maverick way. People first - always.
Here's to Year TWO - & everything that's still to come. 💛

We are All In.
This National Reconciliation week, we're reflecting on what it means to truly show up, not just for the week, but every day.
At Maverick Supports, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live & work, & pay our respects to Elders past, present & emerging. We recognise that sovereignty was never ceded.
Reconciliation lives in how we build relationships, how we deliver support, & how we show up in our communities. It's not a box to tick. It's a commitment to keep.

Maverick Supports are very proud to be sponsoring & presenting at this upcoming Sector Connect Inc Agency Day.
It's is FREE for general admission (ticket link in comments) & only a nominal fee for store holders to cover costs of the day. It is being hosted by Wests League Club Campbelltown, & will run from 10am - 1pm on the 18th June, 2026.
This is a day about putting competition aside & coming together to support our community through a more holistic, connected approach.

It’s about organisations, services, & people uniting as one; connecting pathways, sharing knowledge, & creating stronger solutions for those most at risk in our communities. Together, we can offer the very best support, care, & opportunities for the people who need it most.

Today we celebrate nurses, & we don't take that lightly.
For people living with psychosocial disability, a nurse can sometimes be one of the most consistent & trusted faces in their world. Whether it's a hospital visit, a check-up, a moment of crisis, or just a quiet reassurance; nurses show up with skill, patience, & humanity.
At Maverick Supports, we work alongside nurses every day. You see our participants at their most vulnerable. You advocate for them. You take the time to understand what's behind the diagnosis.
Thank you for the expertise, the compassion, & the care that goes so much deeper than a checklist.
Happy International Nurses Day. You matter more than you know. 💛
