🌿 Meet Our Keynote Speaker – Dr Norman McNulty

We are honoured to welcome Dr Norman McNulty, MD, as a keynote speaker for AMEN Conference 2026!

Dr McNulty is a board-certified neurologist practicing in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. He graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his neurology residency and clinical neurophysiology fellowship at Loma Linda. His journey in medicine has also included two years of missionary service at an Adventist hospital in Trinidad, where he experienced firsthand the powerful connection between medical ministry and sharing the gospel.

Beyond his medical practice, Dr McNulty has a deep passion for Bible study, Adventist prophetic teaching and ministry. He travels extensively to share God's Word and has been involved in young adult ministries and local church leadership. He is also the author of Daniel: Practical Living in the Judgment Hour and Revelation: Practical Living in the Judgment Hour.

His life and ministry beautifully reflect the heart of our 2026 theme:

“In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.” — John 1:4

As healthcare professionals, we care for life every day. But Dr McNulty will remind us that the ultimate source of life is not found merely in medicine—it is found in Christ.

Come prepared to be challenged, encouraged and renewed as we seek to place Christ at the centre of our healing ministry.

"And the Spirit and the bride say, 'Come!' And let him who hears say, 'Come!' And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely." — Revelation 22:17 (NKJV)

The Bible closes with a beautiful invitation—Come! This is the heartbeat of medical missionary work and the mission of AMEN. As healthcare professionals, we are called not only to care for the sick but also to invite every weary, thirsty soul to Jesus, the Source of life. Our healing ministry finds its true purpose when it points others to the Living Water. May our lives echo heaven's final invitation: "Come!" For in Him was life, and that life is the light of all people (John 1:4).

“And He said to him, ‘Go, wash in the pool of Siloam’ (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.” — John 9:7

Jesus often invited people to respond in faith before they experienced the miracle. The blind man obeyed Christ's simple command, and through that act of faith received both physical sight and a powerful testimony. In medical missionary work, we are also "sent" to serve with compassion, pointing people beyond physical healing to the One who restores lives completely. As we faithfully minister to the needs of others, may our words and actions encourage them to trust the Great Physician, whose healing brings hope, restoration, and new vision for both this life and eternity.

“But Jesus answered and said, ‘Permit even this.’ And He touched his ear and healed him.” — Luke 22:51

Even in the moments leading to the cross, Jesus chose compassion over retaliation. His final miracle before His crucifixion was an act of healing toward one who had come to arrest Him. What a powerful example for those engaged in medical missionary work. Christ's healing ministry was never limited by circumstance, prejudice, or personal cost—it was an expression of God's love for every person. As healthcare professionals and followers of Christ, may we reflect the same spirit of grace, extending healing hands, compassionate hearts, and words of hope to all who come before us. Through every act of service, we have the privilege of revealing the character of the Great Physician.

“Whether He be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.” — John 9:25

The greatest testimony is often the simplest one—a life transformed by Christ. Like the man born blind, we may not have all the answers, but we can share what Jesus has done in our lives. As medical missionaries, our calling is not only to care for physical sight and health but also to point others to the One who opens blind eyes, restores broken hearts, and gives true spiritual vision. A personal testimony of God's grace is one of the most powerful witnesses we can share.

When trials arise, it's easy to become overwhelmed by the waves around us instead of fixing our eyes on the One who walks above them. Yet Christ gently reminds us, "Fear not... I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour" (Isaiah 43:1–3).

As healthcare professionals and followers of Christ, we are called to trust His presence through every challenge, knowing that He goes before us, strengthens us in our weakness, and remains faithful even in life's fiercest storms.

“In praying for the sick, we are to pray that if it is God’s will they may be raised to health; but if not, that He will give them His grace to comfort and His presence to sustain them in their suffering.” This reflects a deep trust in God’s wisdom and timing, reminding us that prayer is not only for healing, but also for strength, peace, and endurance in times of illness. In all circumstances, we are called to uphold those who are suffering with compassion, faith, and the assurance of God’s abiding presence.

“It is our work to present the sick and suffering to Christ in the arms of our faith…. We should lay hold on His promise, and pray for the manifestation of His power."

This reminds us that healthcare ministry is not only about treating illness, but also about interceding for those in our care with faith and compassion. In moments of weakness and suffering, we are called to uphold patients spiritually as well as physically, trusting in God’s promises and seeking His healing power to bring comfort, restoration, and hope.

“The Saviour would have us encourage the sick, the hopeless, the afflicted, to take hold upon His strength. Through faith and prayer the sickroom may be transformed into a Bethel.” This reminds us that healing is not only physical but also deeply spiritual, where presence, compassion, and prayer can bring peace to those in distress. In our daily practice, we are invited to be instruments of hope—bringing reassurance, dignity, and faith into even the most difficult moments of illness.

"Medical missionary work, ministering to the sick and suffering, cannot be separated from the gospel." Jesus never separated healing from hope—He cared for both the physical and spiritual needs of those He encountered. As His followers, we are called to do the same.

Every act of compassion, every listening ear, every treatment offered with love becomes an opportunity to reflect Christ's character. Medical missionary work is more than caring for illness; it is sharing the love of God through service and pointing others to the Great Physician.
