💔 REJECTED
🙏 I cold-emailed 93 companies to offer them a free service. 91 of them ignored me.
🌟 Ten years ago, for National Foot Health Month, I launched "The 10 Feet Project." My mission was simple: stop people from taking their foot health for granted and reduce unnecessary medication through education.
🫡 I wasn’t looking for a payday. I was offering a FREE 2-hour clinical training session for their staff. I spent weeks on LinkedIn, hunting down HR & WHS managers and using plugins to guess email addresses. I reached out to the giants:
Coles and Woolies supermarkets, Sydney Morning Herald, Men’s & Women’s Health magazines and NSW Mining
🥲 Silence. For weeks.
👍🫰🙏 Then, mid-month, the door cracked open. The NSW Police Force and the SDA responded. That one "Yes" turned into years of speaking events and incredibly rewarding clinical work.
❤️ But here’s the truth behind the "win": My clinic, Triumph Health was cranking. My family was growing. I was trying to be a Principal Podiatrist, Company Director, a public speaker, and a present father all at once.
🔥 It was rewarding, but it was inefficient. I was trading time I didn't have for impact I couldn't scale.
❤️ I learned that you can have the best mission in the world, but if your delivery system is broken, you’ll burn out before you reach the finish line. 91 rejections or "silences" didn't mean the mission was bad; it just meant the delivery hadn't found the right door yet.Efficiency is the only way to survive. Being a "Hero" who does everything manually leads to burnout
🔴 That is exactly why I am pushing for 50,000 YouTube subscribers on YouTube and building the VERB app. I’m taking that same mission from 2015—educating the world on lower limb health—and finally giving it the scale it deserves.
❤️🫰 So please follow me on my journey from 7750 to 50k YouTube subscribers!
