Coffee becomes a problem when the body already has a FULL bucket.

Histamine isn’t just about food. It’s affected by gut health, cortisol, liver clearance, hormones, mould exposure and inflammation.

Coffee can increase histamine release from mast cells, raise cortisol and adrenaline, and irritate the gut lining - which means in someone already struggling, it can push the nervous system and immune system over the edge.

You can’t expect cortisol to come down while your body still thinks it’s under threat.

Undereating, skipping breakfast, smashing HIIT 5x a week, running on caffeine and poor recovery all push the nervous system harder - especially in women already dealing with stress, burnout, gut issues or hormone imbalances.

If I could go back and speak to this little girl…

I’d tell her it wasn’t her job to grow up so fast.

It wasn’t her job to hold everything together.
To be the responsible one.
To earn love by performing.
To carry the weight of things that were never hers to carry.

But I’d also tell her something else.

That the strength she built from those experiences would one day become her greatest gift.

The resilience.
The empathy.
The ability to understand people deeply.

None of it was wasted.

Some of the most compassionate, driven and self-aware people you’ll ever meet
are the ones who had to learn those things earlier than they should have.

Your past may shape you.

But it doesn’t have to limit you.

Sometimes it becomes the exact reason you grow into the person you were meant to be.

Most people think acid reflux means too much stomach acid.

In many cases, it’s actually the opposite.

Low stomach acid.

When stomach acid is too low, food isn’t broken down properly. That can lead to:

• bloating after meals
• reflux or heartburn
• excessive burping
• nutrient deficiencies
• poor protein digestion
• gut infections
• hair thinning or weak nails

Stomach acid is one of the first steps in healthy digestion. When it’s not functioning properly, it can create a ripple effect through the entire gut.
